To learn an instrument from scratch you must know the basics of music (musical notes, scales, treble clef, bass clef...etc). If you already have this knowledge, great. If you don't, great too, I'm here to teach you. After knowing this basics, we will be ready to use the keyboard without being so lost, knowing what we are playing. In this way, the student can learn to improvise, to create meaningful melodies, and to make mistakes as well. In music, anything goes. The course also adapts to the student's requests. If you prefer to learn songs that you like, we can do so, but be careful: first you have to know the basics of the piano, so that it won't be difficult for you to learn your favorite song. Above all, what matters in this course is that music is learned in a different way than the conventional one, and that we leave class with a smile, knowing that we will see each other again, to learn more useful things.

CLASSES IN SPANISH, CATALAN, FRANÇAIS, DEUTSCH, ENGLISH SPANISH (DÉSCPRIPTION FRANÇAISE EN BAS): I offer piano classes, awareness/introduction to music and music theory. I live in Madrid and I am a student of a Higher Degree in Singing (Jazz and Modern Music). I dedicate a good part of my time to teaching (musical and linguistic) in the format of private classes online or at home. I started giving private classes at home to children when I lived in Germany. During the 22-23 academic year I gave piano classes to students of all ages at the RedMusik Music School (Igualada, Catalonia). I studied the piano and other instruments for more than 15 years at the UGDA and at the Luxembourg City Conservatory of Music. After many years of music theory and piano I obtained the „Première Mention“ certificate from the Conservatory, with the qualification "Très Bien". A good music class should include not only reading scores, but also theoretical and harmonic study, improvisation, recreational play with the instrument, listening and rhythmic exercises. I am interested in designing the class in a creative way and adapted to the needs and desires of the student. I hope to transmit encouragement, joy and curiosity about the study of music! In this course you will learn to understand your body through music. To play piano we need more than our fingers, you will learn to feel your body, the relaxation that passes through it and the necessary movements you must make to be able to properly play the piano. You will also learn a lot about each era, starting from the Baroque to today. You will be able to see how each era is unique and the way of seeing and feeling music in each of them. You will learn many ways to study, so that you can continue at home alone with the certainty of doing well. We will learn together, because I am convinced that teaching is a way of learning too.

A piano class for beginners. I have over ten years of piano and music theory experience and passion that I would like to use. Class units include: I. Develop Music Comprehension Skills: Teaching the basic music vocabulary, keys, theory, and techniques. II. Cultivate Motor Skills: Practicing chords, scales, muscle memory, using both hands, finger facility, and strength. III. Reading music: Practicing songs, chord building, intervals. IX. Integration: Combining all of these skills to read music and play beginners piano music, practice ear training, sight-reading, harmony, and advanced rhythms. X. Progression of song difficulty, and quantity and quality of pieces. Homework includes listening to songs to practice the Suzuki method and practicing scales, chords, and encouraging songs to be played 10-30 minutes each day.
