As a percussion and drum tutor, I offer personalised lessons designed to help students of all skill levels develop their rhythmic abilities. In addition, I incorporate Latin percussion, teaching instruments like congas and pandeiro, to explore rhythm and groove in diverse musical styles. Methodology I base my teaching what the student wants to learn and also through years of teaching and learning I can help guide you on this path. Techniques, phrase development, solo, accompaniment, odd rhythms and creation of your own sound. We will cover traditional rhythms from Turkey, the Balkans, Egypt. I can teach darbuka and bendir from beginner to advanced level. With more than 20 years of experience in drums and more than 10 years in percussion, I teach many musical genres (jazz through Latin music, pop, hip hop, rock, hard, punk, metal ..) , the double pedal, notions of music theory, rhythmic reading. Possibility of taking percussion lessons (darbuka, bongos, African djembe, congas, jaw harp, dhol). The programs are directly inspired by internationally recognized methods, thus being able to adapt to the needs, levels and requirements of each individual. I travel but I also receive in a room with equipment available (any age and level of practice are allowed, from initialization to professionals). I play drums in many different groups, bands, collectives, projects. I have been playing Drums for 13 years, beginning with Rock music and then moved to Jazz where I studied jazz drums at the Conservatory of music and ballet Ljubljana.
