Did you always want to learn cello from zero and never had the opportunity to start, or do you want to improve your already learned skills? Then I can definitely help you! I am a Spanish cellist based in Amsterdam since 2008 with more than 10 years experience of teaching. I offer lessons for all ages and levels, in English, Dutch and Spanish. Here is a small resume of the lessons I offer: 1. Cello and/or baroque cello lessons: All levels. The lessons will be focused on two basic elements: Technic of the instrument and developing musical skills. 2. Music theory: Beginners. Basics of music, such as reading notes, rules and analysis. This field is as important as learning the instrument for it complements the process in music performance. 3. Music History: All levels The lessons will give a full understanding of the historical development of music, with a complete historical context of the arts, politics and society. These lessons are a key point to students of conservatories and musicians to complement their music knowledge.

Experienced teacher of Oud and oriental Arabic singing for over 11 years, I am Lebanese and currently residing in Germany. I studied for 8 years at the Lebanese National Conservatory. I taught at the Casa Beethoven Academy in Lebanon and gave private lessons. In addition, I was conductor of the Loubnan Assalam oriental orchestra for over 5 years. My recommendation for learning the Oud is to start with the study of notes and musical notation before tackling pieces. Although some students prefer to play songs directly, understanding the basics of musical notation allows for faster progress in the long run. Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. At my studio my students will not only learn how to play the piano, but they will receive a complete musical education in order to achieve their musical dreams. Both programs can be combined depending on the focus and the profile of the student, or in case the student would like to go deeper in one of the previously mentioned subjects there is the opportunity to take an independent course of specialization on the desired topic. At the end of the semester every student will perform at the winter and summer concerts held every year and will have the possibility of making a recording session with the material worked during the term. With this, the student will not only be able to see his progress and work, but also will give him a direct experience of performing and working on a live or studio recording session, which is a fundamental part of the developing process of every musician. My experience runs mostly in early and classical music with an active performing life, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals.
