Welcome to the music class! Here, we are gonna discover the wonders of learning an instrument. From reading note letters, implementing a proper form to sight reading a piece, we are gonna learn in our own pace. If you're just learning music now and it feels like there's a lot to understand, don't worry we're gonna start from the basics. I will help you understand music and its elements. With your dedication and my guidance, I'm positive that we will get a good result!

If you are a complete beginner we'll be starting with different finger exercises, music theory and will be discovering different genere's of music as well. The ultimate goal will be to make you able to play your favourite songs without being dependent on internet for the notes. Music Theory, Staff Notation, Ear training, Improvisation are some of the topics we will be expolring We can also follow Trinity College London or Rockschool syllabus. Even if you're a advanced player with few years of experience and feels stuck I am going to show you the secret that you need to know to grow as a player to achieve new level of musicianship

Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. The lessons would take place at my home in Mol or via webcam. If necessary, we can always agree on something else. Folk or classical acoustic guitar. The teaching philosophy is adapted to the level of each individual, according to the pace of work and motivation. Learning to play an instrument is an amazing skill to possess! I have been playing guitar for 12 years now and piano for 2 years. Playing instrument provides me with a hobby that is equal parts calming and fun, it brings joy to me and to others. It is best to start learning music at a young age however, it is never too late to pick up a new skill! I myself have recently tried learning the cello and it is exciting to say the least. I have many years experience tutoring and teaching both academically and musically. I have taught ages 4-15 years old in the past as well as having many years experience in customer service. I can teach chords, fingerstyles and plucking, full songs or melodies, in either tab form or standard music notation.

Music is a pleasant experience that we all deserve to live, whether as an individual pleasure or in a group space, through it we can discover a creative spirit within us that we may not have known about. With the help of a graduate in music, with an emphasis on musical pedagogy, you will be able to learn various plucked string instruments, from common ones such as the guitar, the requinto or the bass, to other traditional instruments such as the tiple and the bandola. My intention in the classes is that the student develops a lasting interest & passion for playing guitar. The classes are interactive and the student is given the space to learn & apply the concepts within the classes itself. The student is also encouraged to express themselves & clear all doubts. The concepts covered in the classes include guitar tone, guitar techniques, ear training, sheet music (sight reading), open & barre chords, guitar solos and many more, as per the unique needs of each student.
