From traditional American Bluegrass to Katy Perry to Mozart to Django-style Swing music, you can learn to play your favorite song on the violin or viola with determination and effective instruction. These lessons encompass reading music, ear training, and a strong technical foundation on the instrument. All ages and musical goals are welcome! My 20+ years of musical experience include playing for opera and film scores, throwing down hundreds of studio tracks, touring with Americana and punk bands, performing for weddings, funerals, parties, school assemblies, and I want to share that knowledge with you and accompany you on your artistic journey.

In this course you will learn to play the violin in a simple and practical way. Valid for everyone, from children to adults. You will only need your violin and a desire to learn. You will learn music theory, essential violin techniques and how to become a good performer.

I'm living in Valencia and studying a masters of Contemporary Performance at Berklee Valencia. If you want in person lessons, we can do that in Valencia. Otherwise I am available via zoom to give you lesson exactly in what you need. Most important is that YOU decide how your lesson is going to be :)

I offer violin, viola and music theory classes for all levels and ages. Graduated in the United States, with more than 10 years of teaching experience and more than 25 years as a violinist. The classes are very creative so that the student feels motivated and the learning is very effective.

Beginner - Expert Violin! All ages and levels are welcome. I will improve your passagework, intonation, vibrato, sliding, presence, and solidity. I can also encourage musical intuition and imagination for creative students and teach them how to be independent thinkers to achieve awesome musicianship. In my first two years of violin training, I had the opportunity to study the Suzuki method while becoming accustomed to a more traditional style and am therefore versatile and flexible with student's abilities. I have performed as a classical soloist, in chamber groups, and with a full orchestra. Additionally, I have experience in modern popular music and help my students understand the importance of both mental preparation and knowledge on comfortability during their practice time and their performance time.

As their skills progress, they will have the opportunity to explore more advanced concepts, such as modes, intricate timing and rhythm patterns, advanced chord structures, harmonization techniques, improvisation, and a diverse repertoire within their chosen genre and style. For instance, classical musicians will delve into the works of composers spanning the Renaissance to the Romantic era, while folk musicians will explore various European dance music styles and American genres like bluegrass, country, western swing, jazz, and blues, among others. The curriculum is tailored to meet the specific needs and aspirations of each student, allowing for continuous growth and musical development.
