Hello everyone! My musical journey began when I was just four years old, starting with the piano. Later, at the age of seven, I eagerly embraced the violin, adding its enchanting melodies to my repertoire. I achieved a professional mid-grade in both piano and violin. Fueled by my love for music, I moved to Rotterdam, Netherlands, to pursue a Bachelor's degree at Codarts University of Arts. Under the guidance of teachers like Natasha Morozova and Hed Yaron Meyerson, I refined my skills and nurtured my artistic vision. After completing my Bachelor's studies, I continued my musical exploration in Codarts' Master's program. Alongside my classical training, I've always been intrigued by the therapeutic potential of music. In 2023, I earned certification in Music Therapy, expanding my horizons and deepening my connection to the healing power of music. In collaboration with my colleagues, I am member of the Olga Trio. Our mission is to highlight the works of women composers throughout history. Our debut performance at the IV Concurso Nacional de Interpretación de Obras de Mujeres Compositoras was a proud moment, affirming our commitment to amplifying diverse voices in music. Beyond classical music, I've always been drawn to exploring different genres and styles. As a member of the Jong Metropole Orchestra in 2023, I relished the opportunity to collaborate with musicians from diverse backgrounds, pushing the boundaries of traditional musical conventions. In every note I play and every project I undertake, my passion for music shines through. It's a journey of exploration, growth, and discovery, and I'm excited to continue sharing my love for music with the world. I've been teaching during the last 8 years. I have been teaching classes continuously for more than 10 years and I would like to explain what you can find in a class with me! - To begin with, the most important thing is to know what you want to achieve. I would like to focus the classes according to what you need. For example, we will not put the same level of demand if you want to play for pleasure at home without haste or if you want to do some entrance exams to musical studies (although always with the same good rigor). The needs of each student can vary the methodology, the way of organizing the study sessions, the postural work, the repertoire... - Once we know what we want to achieve and by when, classes will begin in a relaxed atmosphere. Important! Relaxed is not equal to undemanding or rigorous, just that we will try not to resort to military methods, especially given my character and sense of humor ;). - Something important to note is that my methods are very dynamic and with special emphasis on the development of the ear and musicality. No reading, spitting and changing songs. I try to avoid methods that focus too much on the continuous reading of scores without memorizing, listening or understanding what is being done and why, especially so that later you can make your own aesthetic decisions and feel ownership of your performance. Maybe I'll even make you sing. - Last but not least, it should be noted that given my training (I studied classical music and modern music and jazz at the Taller de Músics) my tendency will be to give the same importance to different types of music. I am a professional violinist. I graduated with distinction at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Master) and hold a Bachelor Diploma from Codarts (Rotterdam). I also pursued a masters degree in Music Education at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. I teach students of all ages and levels. I have thirteen years of teaching experience in the Netherlands and in Belgium ( privately and at music schools: Hart Muziekschool in Haarlem and Vioolstudio 020! in Amsterdam). In my lessons I help the students to find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of aural skills, sense of rhythm and an optimal body use, enabling them to connect with their musical imagination.
