Music production and recording technology may seem complicated at first glance, but in our 1-on-1 private lessons we can discuss the creative and technical tools you need to unleash your own creativity. During the lessons we can learn to work with different programs, such as Logic, Pro Tools or Ableton. The lessons are for students of all ages and levels. Knowledge of solfège is not required. I studied music production at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) under the mentorship of King James Britt, and at Abbey Road in London. I am well versed in most audio software (Pro Tools, Ableton Live, Logic Pro X), using all of these in a professional setting for over 5 years. Currently, I work as an audio engineer, mixing and mastering songs for clients as well as recording in major studios across the city, as well as working remotely for the studio that I started in Oxford (Lenka's Studios). I would love to help you reach your specific goals in Audio production and pass on my knowledge. Students can bring their works in Progress for feedback and to be worked on, or they can ask in advance to learn more about a specific area of audio production (For example, recording techniques for drums or piano, mixing techniques for live recordings or for electronic music). I have many years of experience in writing songs electronically, and for live instruments, for artists in the UK and the USA. In these private lessons I will cover a broad range of topics that you'd like to learn about using Ableton Live!
