Here, we write down and memorize the new words and verbs we learn.🧠 Then, after listening to a text related to our topic, I want you to explain in Turkish what you understood. Of course, understanding the texts might be a bit difficult at first, but we overcome this and learn together. 💪Then, we come to the most fun part, of course, the speaking part. In this part, we talk about the texts we have read and listened to before. Of course, we try to use new words and verbs more. I love people who talk a lot in my classes. It's not a problem even if it gives me a bit of a headache🤕😁 As long as you learn🙏❤️. And finally, I give you a writing assignment related to the topic and eagerly await our next lesson. I was born in Istanbul in 1983. I started teaching Turkish while studying the Turkish Language and Literature in my undergraduate programme. I worked in a language school and at universities, and I suppose I gained success. 😊 My achievements are directly proportional to my students’ success. I have been teaching Turkish professionally for 14 years. I also taught Turkish for 4 years when I was a university student. I learned Ottoman Turkish at the university, that is why I am familiar Persian and Arabic vocabulary. I also studied Persian, German and Italian grammar. I completed my master's degree in Ottoman history and spent a semester as an Erasmus student at the Turkish Studies Department of Leiden University. A basic but correct conversation is really important for self-confidence in any language. If a learner can master basic sentence forms, the rest will come much easier. On the other hand, making mistakes is also very important. Especially, a learner can not speak without making a mistake the first and second time. My students are always varied and have diverse learning skills. My professionalism also allows me to tailor language education according to individual interests, needs, and capacities. In the classroom, I hold firm three main principles: first, providing a comfortable environment, second, creating an encouraging atmosphere, and third, establishing a collaborative instruction model. I consider that I developed an aptitude for making learning Turkish much easier, more enjoyable, and more practical for my students.
