Hello, My name is Laura, I am of Romanian origin, but I have lived in France since 2017. I am multilingual - my mother tongue is Romanian, I speak French and English fluently and I have a beginner level in Spanish. I studied English in a bilingual high school and continued to work in the marketing sector in English and French. I also lived in the United States where I worked for 6 months during the “Work and Travel” program in one of the most beautiful amusement parks in the world and that's where I had the opportunity to learn “everyday” English, by interacting with my colleagues at work, my travel colleagues and especially the customers with whom I had to speak every day. I am an open-minded, encouraging, calm person and I am a good listener. I am passionate about cooking and discovering new cultures. I suggest, during our courses, above all to dialogue (situation) on various subjects (whether it is your passions, your hobbies, travel or any other subject that you like). We can also discuss notions of vocabulary (words, expressions) or grammar (conjugation, sentences used on a daily basis). Don't hesitate, I am open to your suggestions! I could then provide you with texts to read quietly at home, have you make transcriptions of the videos/podcasts or recommend bloggers/vloggers based on your passions. Being a former student myself here in France, I learned that the most effective method is the rather informal one, because I think that this is how we learn a language most easily, by exchanging on subjects diverse, in a relaxed context. This course is aimed at all people who want to learn the language for pleasure or necessity (school, work, marriage etc.), as well as for people who wish to travel to English-speaking countries.
