Thematic classes: I recognize that each student has their own interests and needs. For this reason, we offer thematic classes chosen by yourselves. They will be able to choose the topics they want to explore, such as culture, travel, business, gastronomy and more. I will tailor the lessons to fit your preferences and goals.
One hundred percent classes in Brazilian Portuguese: From the beginning, our classes will be conducted entirely in Brazilian Portuguese. Let me share my experience as a Portuguese teacher. I have one year of experience teaching Portuguese in Colombia, where I have had the opportunity to teach Spanish-speaking students interested in learning this beautiful language. In addition to my experience as a Portuguese teacher, I have also worked as a trainer for Spanish-speaking content moderators, teaching them Portuguese specifically for moderating content from Brazil. I offer 90-minute classes divided into three 30-minute blocks, with a 10-minute break in between. I use platforms like Zoom or Google Meet to teach my classes. To ensure an optimal experience, classes must be reserved with seven days notice. In addition, it is important that the student shares the main topic of interest so that he can prepare the best class adapted to his needs.
In my classes, Brazilian Portuguese is the only language used. Through the communicative approach, I make sure that the topics and language are relevant to the needs and reality of my students. This gives them the opportunity to practice and develop their language skills effectively, as they immerse themselves in authentic communication situations and contexts.
Using authentic resources and materials, I encourage active participation and student interaction so that they can apply what they have learned in real situations. Likewise, oral and listening practice is encouraged through interactive activities, debates and practical exercises.
