In this course, I teach Dutch on a basis to intermediate level. All ages are welcome, from children to adults! We focus on basic conversations and expressions that can help you navigate through everyday life in Flanders. The content of the class is adapted to the student's wishes and needs.

I teach Dutch to advanced students. I have experience in NT2 education and I study to become a teacher. The lessons can be about theory of Dutch. We can also agree to speak a lot of Dutch to correct small mistakes in your speech.

This lesson is suitable for any student who wants to sharpen his/her language skills and who wants to venture into learning and studying in a systematically structured way. I offer almost everything for both English and Dutch - from spelling, grammar, speaking, (comprehension) reading, (creative) writing to tasting literature. I give homework in consultation with the student and I encourage a self-evaluating method.

As non-Dutch speaking parents, it is certainly not easy to teach your children Dutch or help them become more fluent in the new language. Who wants some extra exercise for their kids? I would like to help you with that. As their vocabulary expands and their sentences become more fluent, your children will become more confident. A good command of the Dutch language is certainly to their advantage, both now and in the future. Do your children need some help with their homework, especially with their Dutch, then I can help with that. Even as non-native-speaking adults, it is sometimes difficult to have enough exercise. That is why adults who want to make progress in speaking the Dutch language are welcome here! We can practice the everyday language together. Conversing is the best way to learn a new language. In our class we will be relaxed, I will help you with the Dutch conversation, the grammar, reading (like an article or a topic what I will give you). I will help students for beginners-lower-intermediate level. After every lesson I will give you homework for the next lesson. Dutch is my native language. I can teach in English, French and German. I am retired and very flexible with my time. The language is native and has the courage to speak English. I have English and Dutch owners. I also speak French and German. I am reserved and flexible with my time.

I use several methods which are specially conceived to teach Dutch to people who have a different mother tongue. I really like to use methods out of the ordinary like role games or methods with which you learn while playing. All these adapted to the student's situation of course. As I learned myself a couple of other languages, it is easy for me to detect difficulties a student can encounter and adapt the way of learning. I can teach in English, French, German and Russian.
