Ancient Greek is one of the oldest languages in the world. A multitude of literary and philosophical texts have been written in this language. Later, Latin will take up many elements of the heritage of ancient Greek. Today, about 10% of the words in the French language have an ancient Greek origin. Our educational exchange aims to understand ancient Greek culture and Western European culture in general. Although it is a dead language, ancient Greek can instill values in us, broaden our horizons and even help us understand French better. During my university years, I tutored middle and high school students in various subjects including Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry. While on my Erasmus exchange, I also had the opportunity to teach Greek to some of my international friends, which was an incredibly rewarding experience. You've probably said, 'It's all Greek to me' more than once! Together, we’ll dive into the Greek language while also exploring the rich cultural heritage that shapes it. Teaching interactively and combining fun and knowledge is my style I have already had 3 years of teaching experience with various ages: from teenagers to adults, so you don't need to think that age is an obstacle for you. I have also completed a seminar and a university course on teaching Greek as a Second/Foreign language. The lessons are structured, and we will practice all the language skills during the lessons. I would not like my students to be just listeners but to participate actively and always discover new things, giving us the desired result. Working with various materials in Greek, we will focus on the difficulties and weaknesses. We will also use Greek in the lesson so that you can become familiar with the language more quickly and begin to use it effectively. Last but not least, I prepare students for certifications.

You don't need to have any knowledge of the Greek Language. You need only a PC and good internet connection. You don't have to buy any books or materials. You need only appetite to learn and to be present at the lessons. I will send everything you need about the lessons. My lessons are adjustable to your time to study. If you don't have time to study at home, don't worry. A lot of adults work or have children and is difficult for them to spend time at home studying. I will explain grammar, we will do together exercises, speaking, listening, vocabulary exercises and we will read texts. Also, videos and on line games will be provided to you. I am not strict as a teacher and I am very flexible about the schedule.
