My name is Paul and I am a Dutch and English teacher. I am originally from Antwerp - Belgium, where I also studied, but I have been living in Spain for a number of years. I have been a teacher for more than 10 years now, and I specialise in Dutch (and English) as a second language. I have worked for various Dutch (language) organisations, such as the Dutch school in Barcelona and the Dutch Language and Culture Foundation on the Costa Blanca. I have experience with almost all levels and ages, although most students are highly educated people who want to work in Belgium or the Netherlands, and want to learn the language in a short period of time. I also have experience with preparing for official exams and integration programmes. In recent years I have specialised in giving lessons online. This is particularly useful for students who don't have a lot of time, but still want to learn the language efficiently. I always offer a tailor-made lesson package – not everyone has the same needs and goals. I will help students for beginners-lower-intermediate level. After every lesson I will give you homework for the next lesson. I use several methods which are specially conceived to teach Dutch to people who have a different mother tongue. I really like to use methods out of the ordinary like role games or methods with which you learn while playing. All these adapted to the student's situation of course. As I learned myself a couple of other languages, it is easy for me to detect difficulties a student can encounter and adapt the way of learning. I can teach in English, French, German and Russian.

A qualified language coach with 24 years of experience offers intensive Dutch lessons in a small class or online. I give many Dutch NT2 lessons to expats and in preparation for an integration exam. Specialized in guiding for the State Exam I and II. Special exam coach. In January 2025 I will also start with groups again. We have a great classroom in the center of Rotterdam, near metro station Beurs, lessons with small homogeneous groups (little difference in level).
