Business English - Understanding Global Business Context via English
This course is aimed at improving the reading, writing, and speaking skills of participants in various business and economic topics such as strategic management, marketing management, brand management, microeconomics, supply chain management, etc. In the course, myriad current business and economic issues are discussed and the conceptual understanding of the participants is developed via authentic texts and visual and audial materials. The course can be customized and aligned with the needs and expectations of the participants. The language competencies of the participants whose English language proficiency level is not advanced can be improved by teaching business concepts and appropriate grammatical patterns. Participants of this course will increase their English language competencies to higher levels, while at the same time, they will increase their conceptual and linguistic understanding in multidisciplinary sub-fields such as demographics, sociology, technology, international relations, and global issues, as well as business, and economics.

About Me
Ozan S. is currently in employment at the Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU)as a full-time academic. From 2017-to 2019, he worked at the Vice Rectorate of International Affairs and Promotion, as the International Affairs and Promotion Coordinator, where he headed the marketing communications of the university, with a particular focus on the Middle East, Africa, and Asia continents.
