I have extensive experience performing in immersive theatre - communicating, catching and holding the attention of a wide variety of people. I also have experience in storytelling, working with and teaching children of all ages, as well as writing and producing theatre. Starting drama classes as a teenager was one of the most important things I ever did. It help me build confidence, develop empathy and ground me as the person I am today. I love performing and creating experiences for my audience - watching their faces as they're surprised, entertained or disgusted by the stories I tell. But just as important as that is the opportunity to share some of the tools I learned from drama school with other people - tools that can be used every day in communication, emotional regulation and play. Depending of the spaces (Webcam or on location) the class would differ. My main aim is for people to have access to a system of learning through which they can absorb and understand a practice that they could then bring with them wherever and whenever they want. My way of teaching involves for the moment 17 different chapter, involving improvisation tools (Movement), theatre exercises, stretching and fitness. All the classes are customised according to the students needs and objectives.

Movement for actors. This class explores Laban fundamentals to develop movement ability and application, providing an understanding of the influential movement system and how it can enhance your physicality and performance. We can work on a full understanding of the Laban system or actor movement coaching for specific work. Extensive experience teaching with organisations such as LSDA and Central School of Speech and Drama.

I also founded and ran Outburst Theatre from 2010 - 2019 as a platform to bring communities together in South East London via educational theatre projects. As a solo artist, I have written and produced three one-woman stage shows - "Raw Cake", "Through the Hourglass" and "The Wonky Shonky Show" - all performed in London, UK. My name is Vanessa and I am an actress, teacher and producer currently based in London, United Kingdom. As well as training and performing within the Theatre industry since 2011, I have also taught art disciplines such as acting, singing and dance and dance fitness from the ages of 3 upwards. Some of my performance credits include, Motown The Musical, Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Hairspray and Legally Blonde to name a few. For those that have a keen passion for entering into the Theatre industry, I am able to use my experience to offer professional training across all disciplines and help equip them with tools needed to thrive as a performer.
