Hello there! My name is Oliver, and I'm a full-time academic and tutor, mainly in the field of History. I have a BA degree in History, an MA in International History, and am in the process of completing my PhD. My lessons on this platform are primarily aimed at university students (at any level), and I have expertise in modern history. In particular, this includes: intellectual history since the Enlightenment; Russian history c.1861-1928 (especially the Russian Revolution and Civil War); and 20th-century European history. I am a former University Senior Lecturer with over 20 years experience in teaching and research. I am passionate about inspiring individuals to aim high. I am the author of four books, have published in a range of international peer reviewed journals and have chapters in various other books.
