A Cambridge certified teacher is what I call myself because of CELTA certificate I got in 2018. I have taught English and Farsi (Persian) to many students around the globe. About the methodology I use in my lessons, I have to say that it's different person to person. Some need TTT (Test - Teach - Test) some other might need CLT (Communicative - Language - Teaching ) or TBL (Task-based Language). It depends on your level, agenda and learning preferences. It's my job to figure it out and use the correct way in the class and I'm really good at it, I promise ;). When you want to learn something, It's all about mistakes. Don't be afraid of making them when you talk. Just imagine a toddler making effort for the first words and sentences and answer this question: How many mistakes they make in order to learn to speak a language? So, whether you want to strengthen your vocabulary or work on your grammar, learn the basics or prepare for a specific occasion, I am more than happy to share my experience and help you grow.

As non-Dutch speaking parents, it is certainly not easy to teach your children Dutch or help them become more fluent in the new language. Who wants some extra exercise for their kids? I would like to help you with that. As their vocabulary expands and their sentences become more fluent, your children will become more confident. A good command of the Dutch language is certainly to their advantage, both now and in the future. Do your children need some help with their homework, especially with their Dutch, then I can help with that. Even as non-native-speaking adults, it is sometimes difficult to have enough exercise. That is why adults who want to make progress in speaking the Dutch language are welcome here! We can practice the everyday language together. Conversing is the best way to learn a new language. I've taught Creative Writing to university students at a world-leading school, and worked with younger audiences, and I'm happy to work with a variety of forms in English. I studied for my MFA in Creative Writing at the University of British Columbia, and won a scholarship as the strongest poet in my cohort.

I am an accomplished author and performance poet with two published poetry anthologies. My work as a poet not only involves writing but also performing, bringing the art of spoken word to life and engaging diverse audiences. Alongside my creative endeavors, I have a strong background in education. I have taught poetry and Sociology to both young people and adult learners, facilitating a deeper understanding and appreciation of these subjects. Through my teaching, I strive to inspire others to find their voices and explore the power of words, while also providing insight into the complexities of human society through the lens of Sociology.
