I am a native American English speaking instructor, editor, and journalist from Florida specializing in editing, the drafting of articles, text correction, and proofreading for a wide range of professionals & students across Belgium and Europe. I have written, ghostwritten, edited, or proofread a variety of articles, academic papers, theses, applications, CVs, and other documents for numerous satisfied academic and professional clients. Learning to speak and write in English, along with listening and reading, is tough. As a tutor, I am willing to design tailored lessons and respond to student needs. Students in my classes have a chance to raise their voices, make inquiries and even challenge ideas, all for language proficiency.

I provide A-level and GCSE History tutoring. In classes we will work on strengthening knowledge of the subject as well as practice essay structures/planning and exam technique. Homework will be set when necessary but I will always take into consideration the students' school timetable first. I will happily provide progress reports. For Bachelor students in History/International Relations/ related subjects the classes are individually designed to address the concerns of the student. This could include clarifying topics/knowledge or essay/exam help for example.

Having refined essay writing skills is integral in order to achieve high marks in any English Literature course. I am in my 4th year of my MA English Literature degree and having also done it at A-level so I am very knowledgeable on the requirements that encompass a good essay. You will learn how to refine arguments, come up with theses and keep a sustained argument throughout.
