Basic pattern making and mindful art for beginners

Hi! I am a multidisciplinary artist and alumna of the Royal Academy of Art The Hague and other art Academies abroad. With my experience in 2D and 3D art techniques (both traditional and digital) and having successfully taught my students in the past, I offer a complex preparation for entrance exams in art academies and high schools. I also offer classes for those who like to try a new hobby (please have a look at my other offer). I cover topics such as: - pencil/ charcoal/ mix techniques drawing - oil and acrylic painting - composition/ framing/color studies - sculpture / working with clay - concept thinking, concept sketching - photography - furniture design - interior design - moodboards - illustration - digital programs such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), SketchUp, AutoCAD, Rhinoceros The full course duration can be determined after our first meetup, where we will discuss your current work, interests, and goals. Together, we set a realistic time frame and the amount of classes needed to enter your dream school/ learn a desired skill.

I am flexible to support you or your child with different art forms- over the years I have worked with painting, drawing, collage, film photography, dance, performance art, sculpture, experimental printing, textiles, writing, land art, sound installation. I work with a focus on the making process over the outcome, experimental making, thinking outside the box, and playing with elements of freedom, accident and chance. I take an interdisciplinary approach to Art as connected to all the other subjects and systems in the world, with particular interest in science, nature and ecology.

These online workshops offer opportunity for arrival, expansion and connection through a combination of meditation, movement and story-making exercises. Each workshop lasts 90 minutes and a typical session may include stretching and movement exercises, improvisation games, collaborative storytelling and guided meditation. Each session offers the opportunity for experiencing and practicing grounding (being connected to our present space and time) and offers us connection with our imagination, with our creativity and with the others in our group. I am interdisciplinary artist based in Glasgow, UK. Working across, film, moving image, photography and sculpture I have extensive experience teaching and mentoring online and I am passionate about sharing my skills and knowledge by helping other artists and student to develop theirs. Contemporary Art Practice: mentoring for artists and students This course is intended for adults who already have an art practice which they wish to expand and/or refine. I offer 1/2 hour and 1 hour sessions online. Each session is tailored to YOU and can include: * Feedback and advice on current work * Guidance on developing your practice * Portfolio preparation both for artworks and film/moving image work * Mentoring specific projects (inc. writing project applications, developing proposals and planning production) * Support in writing proposals, funding applications, and artist statements

During the practical process, the learner will need to demonstrate skills in drawing and painting media while doing direct observations from objects, photos or even online resources. The student will be guided coherently towards final outcome. Egg tempera is one of the most ancient historical art painting technique. It preserved as a main technique to paint orthodox religious icons. It is possible to learn it and paint your own icon. I have 9 years of practice teaching people how to do it. We work together step by step to understand the technique, the way to prepare wooden panel to paint an icon and the techniques of making a good project to make the icon fit to the board. We also learn how to make gold leaf layer on the nimbs. Your icon will be a real, crafted icon.

I am a visual artist born in Barcelona, settled in Belgium since 2017. As an artist I have accumulated experience for the last 25 years. I am graduated with an Academic Bachelor in Fine Arts in the University of Barcelona and graduated as a Master in Visual Arts at Sint Lucas School of Arts in Antwerpen. I am specialised in painting, drawing, experimental films, installations, language, sound and curating. In other words, I am a multidisciplinary artist. I understand the artistic practice as a way to understand ourselves and the situations which surrounds us. In my classes I don't teach how to do Art, but as how to say something through your artistic work. With me you can work independently, with a coach who will challenge you with some assignments and giving feedback to your personal concerns. In addition, you will learn how to work with several mediums, preparing your own material: paintings, canvases, and so on. You will not only receive individual coaching but as encourage you to look other artists or take into account other references connected with your concerns. Holder of a Bachelor's degree in contemporary dance and creation of multidisciplinary performances from the Iceland University of the Arts, a Master 2 in Art Research & International Creation from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, I am an artist member of the International Dance Council at UNESCO. Since 2020, I have been engaged in academic research on medical and spiritual dance whose practice is called Transcendental Dance (Transcendental Embodiment). I intend to present this research in a doctoral contract. My professional experience extends internationally where I had the opportunity to work alongside various renowned companies and to organize internships in France, Iceland, Sweden, Mexico, Czech Republic, Spain, Turkey and Asia. Also, I had the opportunity to dance for haute couture houses during Fashion Week in Paris. I teach contemporary dance, technical floorwork (floor work), contact dance and classical dance. My classes focus on mindfulness, musicality, harmonization of energy flows, improvisation, muscle strengthening and coaching in choreographic composition for competitions, exams, galas, and weddings.
