I am an experienced freelance filmmaker, and I hope to teach the basics of non-linear editing through Adobe Premiere Pro so that students who are interested in making their own films can learn how to make their own films on their own computers. About Me
Originally from Guangzhou, China, I obtained a BA in biology and anthropology. Right now, I am pursuing my MA in visual anthropology at Goldsmiths. I am a freelance filmmaker with experience in producing, directing, and editing documentaries.In addition to English being my primary language, I speak and write Cantonese and Mandarin. I also like to cook and boulder during my free time.

I drafted storyboards, wrote scripts, executed video production independently from initiation to final presentation. Experienced video editor in Adobe Premiere Pro.
With a honours BA in anthropology and now an MA candidate in visual anthropology, I am highly experienced in academic essay writing. This class is for those familiar with basics of Chinese language who wish to improve upon their spoken and written skills in mandarin Chinese. The focus is on increasing vocabulary in both spoken and written form, which you will be given new vocabulary over time and be given a chance to practice making conversation. For those who are more beginners, you will be able to form basic sentences and initiate conversation by the end of the course. For those more advanced, you will be form a richer vocabulary bank and increase in your ability to write.
