Italiana
Highly qualified Italian language Teacher Discover Italy with a Highly Qualified Teacher! Italian Language Lessons Plus Cinema, Art, Fashio
Who am I? I am a highly qualified teacher with several years of experience in teaching Italian to foreign students. I organize courses for children, courses for individuals over 60, and preparation courses for Italian language exams. I also offer seminars, webinars, and fun activities such as role-playing games and escape rooms to learn Italian while having fun. **My education and studies** I hold two degrees and a master’s degree. My first degree is in Italian Studies, focusing on Theory, Criticism, and Methodology, with a specific path for teaching Italian to foreigners. My second degree is in Modern Philology. I also completed a Master’s in Contemporary Art and Curatorial Practices at the Luiss Business School in Rome. **What did I do before teaching?** Before dedicating myself to teaching, which I consider the best job in the world, I worked in the fields of fashion and contemporary art. After obtaining my master's degree, I worked as a curator of contemporary art and fashion exhibitions in important museums in Rome. I also collaborated with film festivals, particularly promoting Italian cinema abroad. **My teaching philosophy** I aim to provide my students with all my multidisciplinary knowledge and creativity to offer Italian lessons that include careful grammatical analysis. Beware of those who claim that Italian can be learned without studying grammar: grammar is essential for fully understanding the language system and enables students to become independent right away. Learning grammar is fun and makes learning long-lasting. My lessons do not only focus on the Italian language, but also include insights into Italian culture, from cinema to fashion, from art to design. I also periodically organize meetings with famous Italian artists, including figures from the world of street art. Join me for a unique learning experience that will allow you to fully immerse yourself in the Italian language and culture! I currently teach in three Schools for Foreigners and have experience with students of all levels and all ages, including children ;) With me, you can also prepare for the state exams to obtain citizenship. Are you interested in Italian culture beyond the language? Do you love cinema and want to learn more about the great visionary Italian directors? Are you passionate about art and want to know more about the Medici, the Renaissance, and contemporary Italian art, and explore icons of Italian design? Then this course is perfect for you. I offer grammar and conversation lessons enriched with seminars on the Italian cultural scene, role-playing games, and interactive activities. All teaching materials will be provided by me! Regardless of your age or level, we’ll achieve great things together! :)

Amanda
Online teacher for children 12 and younger for English, History, Citizenship and media
I will be helping students, progress in their learning for English, history, citizenship and media. I personally have done all of these subjects myself and have received 8+ in all the subjects, which is equivalent to A’s and A*. However, I know from my own experience that it would have been very helpful if I had extra help in these subjects. I will support the student in any way needed and will also provide them with worksheets that they are able to do on their laptops. I don’t provide at home lessons, I am only able to do it over webcam. Which means that the student will need to have access to internet and a laptop or computer. You will also need to provide the student with stationary and something they can write on, and it will also be helpful to have access to a printer (but this is not mandatory), as I will be sending worksheets for the students to be doing over email so that they can still receive the resources whilst being at home.

Life skills for young adults aimed at 16 to 18 year olds.
Much of a secondary school's education prepares teenagers for their immediate futures, focussing on academic achievements and some career advice. Very little time is spent on basic life skills that are vital in adulthood. This course aims to bridge that gap providing valuable lessons in the following areas; getting a job, finances, behaving responsibly, independence, safety in a variety of situations, money traps, politics, and voting and current affairs. In addition, classes can be tailored to the needs of students and/or parents' wishes.
