Welcome to my online Piano Class. I will happily help you achieve your musical goals, from the basic fundamentals of piano playing (reading music, positioning your hands on the keys) to building a wonderful sound and technique, allowing you to play anything you wish, from simple melodies to the renown classical piano repertoire of any era. The 30 mins lesson option is just for the new students, so we can meet, discuss, see what you need (level, scores, etc) and, of, course, start to play! I respect every student, I listen to any concerns and I am always happy and creative in helping everyone to get into music. My greatest happiness is to watch my students overcome any limit or freight and expand in full potential! On Sept 1st 2024 three of my awarded students were invited to perform at The DiMenna Classical Center of Music in Manhattan! I am a trained classical singer from Berlin, but I would like to install myself in Athens. In class, we will build your vocal technique with which you can sing about anything you'd like. As a yoga teacher, I focus on a holistic approach to singing using also yogic tools to improve technique and performance. In the second half of class, we will build a repertoire that you'd like to sing and implement the technique into it. Besides singing I play the violin and piano. I'm an Irish guitarist with twenty years of musical experience, including as a rhythm guitarist in several bands. I offer guitar lessons for beginner and intermediate players. For beginners, I'll focus on basic chord structures, strumming patterns, and simple fingerpicking techniques. For the intermediate player, I offer more advanced fingerstyle tutorials in a range of styles, covering songs by Jeff Buckley, Bob Dylan, Elizabeth Cotten, John Prine, Joni Mitchell, Fleetwood Mac and Big Bill Broonzy, among others. I also offer beginner piano lessons, covering a selection of simple classical pieces (Grieg, Bach, Beethoven) as well as some non-classical tunes (Tom Waits, Vulfpeck, etc).

I am holding a bachelor and a master degree in jazz singing from the Conservatorium Van Amsterdam. Besides being a singer and performer, my other passion is teaching and connecting to people through music. My teaching method is scrupulously adapted to each student I have, regardless of the subject to work on (musical language, cello, music history, analysis, conducting, etc.) I always apply the Belgian teaching model, where I trained with my master's degrees in Conducting (Antwerp) and Historical Cello (Brussels). According to this model, the main thing is a living and practical teaching, taking understanding and not memory as the main learning engine.

From my childhood I have been studying music and art: sang in choir and solo, played piano, painted, studied music history and literature, solfeggio. Later in college I have also learned choir conducting, had ensemble and choir singing lessons, cultural studies. During last year in university I had pedagogy practice at university and at private art school (where I worked as a music tutor before the war - piano, voice). I truly enjoyed working with students. They all were different age (8 - 40+ years old) and level. But all were very interesting and work was pleasant. My education was very various: my core subjects were conducting, choir, voice, piano. So it allowed me to work with children, teens and adults with quite wide range of interests and needs: some students needed/wanted to learn particular composition(s), sometimes pop songs arrangements, some were interested in “introduction” to the music, some wanted to renew skills they gained in their childhood and continue their journey to the music world. In addition I prepared presentations (which contained information about cultural and historical background and musical and character/art analysis). So after graduation from choir conducting faculty (which allowed me to deepen my knowledge in many important compatible branches) I concentrated on studying classical singing and piano, expanded my cultural studies and analysis knowledge, practiced solfeggio and harmony.
