I specialize in teaching Math, Geography, and English for success in school. My goal is to challenge but not overwhelm the student. I assign homework after each lesson and provide periodic progress reports. This lesson is for ages 7 to 17 and levels vmbo to vwo. The focus is on developing the right learning techniques to understand the material better and faster. If you have trouble, no problem, we will take the time so that you will eventually understand.

Biology is the study of life and how it impacts all beings. From Evolution to variations, life has evolved in so many ways and this has impacted the way we envisioned living organisms. In this class we tend to explore these changes to help students understand where life stands and hoe to navigate while also understanding the reasons for some of these changes

As an experienced tutor in both English language & subject and social studies, I am committed to creating an engaging and effective learning environment. I believe that the most successful way to learn a language is through interactive and enjoyable methods. I incorporate fun games and activities into my lessons to make the learning process dynamic and enjoyable for my students. Additionally, I ensure consistent growth by assigning homework after each session, reinforcing the material covered. To track and communicate progress, I provide regular reports, allowing both students and parents to monitor improvements over time. My approach is designed to foster not only academic success but also a love for learning.

Budi is a Biology Expert and an Experienced Biology Teacher. He is a dedicated, competent secondary school Biology teacher who has worked for several International Secondary schools and Junior colleges that use the Cambridge Assessment and International Education Curriculum (CAIE) in Indonesia (Southeast Asia). He was responsible for planning and teaching biological science lessons to Grade 9 to Grade 12 Students, both the theoretical and practical part of the coursework. Budi also has experience in training students who want to join the Indonesian Biology National Olympiad / OSN-Biology for Junior High and Senior High students. He is also a research advisor/research teacher for Senior High School Students who want to join the Youth science project / scientific research competition. Budi Santosa Sitoputra graduated from the Faculty of Biology, Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta, Indonesia in 2014, Summa Cum Laude. Currently, he is studying in an MSc Biology study programme and Neuroscience-Human Biology specialisation at ELTE University, Budapest, Hungary as a Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship awardee. He has the vision to improve the quality of Life Science Education. This course offers an interdisciplinary approach to exploring social sciences, philosophy and Arabic language learning. It aims to provide learners with a deep understanding of the fundamental concepts of social sciences, to develop critical thinking skills in philosophy. In social sciences, we will analyze social dynamics, institutions and social phenomena, such as mental health, education, family and inequality. Students will study classical and contemporary sociological theories while developing a critical understanding of the structures that govern society. Philosophy, for its part, will encourage an exploration of major ethical, existential and metaphysical questions, with an emphasis on reflection and logical reasoning. Students will be invited to question the concepts of justice, truth and freedom, and to connect these notions to contemporary issues. In parallel, learning the Arabic language will be aimed at non-native speakers wishing to develop their oral and written communication skills. The course will offer an immersion in the basics of grammar, vocabulary and cultural expressions, allowing students to express themselves in Arabic in various contexts. This course offers an enriching experience for those who wish to combine intellectual reflection and the acquisition of language skills in an intercultural setting.

In these neuro-divergent times, the binary division of "one language or two" in bilinguals is perhaps due some contestation, which students are capable of providing. I have always found bilingual production models (and the ubiquitous Powerpoint slide) that university teachers provide a hindrance because of their lack of explicitness and discussion - they are just not relatable as presented nor do they provide much information or examples for monolingual students. Code-switching, a by-product of bilingualism, is now a term that is even found in minority-ethnic neighbourhood grafitti ("can white people code-switch" a found example). Please note that this is a linguistic term, used for switching between two languages, and not between local or social varieties of English. My personal position is that there is no such thing as bilingualism: there is always a language that suffers attrition, and one language that prevails, mostly because of its prestigious standing over the other language. On the other hand, a child exposed to more than one language cannot be truly monolingual. For this course (very popular at universities around Europe both at undergraduate and postgraduate level) we shall go through the terms used to discuss bilingualism, in detail, and then discuss, with the help of published books and articles, who can be considered bilingual (or are we all, one other language lying dormant?). Can bilingualism be defined by the speaker, instead of the "community"? Can it be imposed by the State? Does a bilingual brain function in the same manner as a monolingual brain? These are research questions that emerge as dissertation or thesis topics both at undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

The University Entrance Exams are tests that, to be passed successfully, require good preparation, consistent with the requirements of the high school level and the stipulated syllabus. As a university student, I myself have also had to go through this process and I am aware of how difficult this preparation can be if it is not well focused on the requirements of the tests; However, with good guidance and dedication it is possible to obtain very good results (in my case, an access grade of 13.512). These classes offer this preparation through the review of essential topics in a didactic and practical way, focused on the corresponding type of exam.
