The harp is an instrument with magnificent sounds that I would make you discover with pleasure in all styles of music (variety, classical, pop, Celtic). I also sing and play the piano and can also introduce you to these instruments if you wish. In my classes, I pass on my passion for music in a fun way by adapting to everyone's desires. I love teaching both children and adults and discovering all the musical palettes that my students might like. The harp is a fabulous instrument that is both technical and intuitive, there are lots of beautiful and interesting things to learn!

The Piano can from childhood bring a lot of benefit to the child. Music trains the memory, the taste for effort but also the artistic sense, the musicality and all this in a playful way. The objective would be to teach the child (or anyone wishing to start the piano) the basics of the piano, passing of course by some notions of music theory, and accompanying the student in learning his first melodies. All this in pleasure, and sharing. I have been playing the piano since I was 7 years old, and reached the upper secondary level at the AVCEM exam when I was 15 years old. I also like to sing a lot while accompanying myself on the piano. I would very much like to pass on this taste for music and give the basics of this beautiful instrument. I am currently at the University of Geneva, which is why courses during weekends and school holidays would be the most practical for me. I am happy to travel to my home with a public transport subscription, but if necessary the student can come and take lessons at my place.

Being a concert cellist, the lessons that I am giving are very well adapted for young ambitious musicians or adults. The most important for me is to guide every students to his own goals, analyzing their needs and respecting their individuality. The lessons are however opened to everyone.

At the end of the semester every student will perform at the winter and summer concerts held every year and will have the possibility of making a recording session with the material worked during the term. With this, the student will not only be able to see his progress and work, but also will give him a direct experience of performing and working on a live or studio recording session, which is a fundamental part of the developing process of every musician. Dear students: My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education. My experience runs mostly in early and classical music with an active performing life, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals. As a docent or vocal coach I've collaborate with different academic institutions and private artistic projects, focusing mostly on international students or social integration programs. I have years of experience teaching children, teenagers and adults in both Latin-America and Europe, therefore understanding different appreciation levels and needs. My main goal is to help the student discover her or his voice while enjoying making music. **Class suggestions and indications** No experience is needed just bring your enthusiasm and favorite music. The theory of everything tends to be really scary and music theory can be too. I am very keen to make music theory easy for everyone. For some people there is only one way to tackle the unmentionable but I believe there are many different approaches and one of them will click with you. It is simply finding out what is best for each person. Once we find the key we can unlock the problems that have puzzled you for ages. Music theory needs to be more than a requirement, it needs to be the way to really appreciate the music you are playing. Certain aspects can also lead to additional practical skills such as improvisation which can be very useful as well as very enjoyable.
