Suzuki and traditional violin lessons offered in Montreal

After studying violin and piano in Boston, at New England Conservatory with Eric Rosenblith, Master Classes with Dorothy DeLay, chamber music with Leslie Parnas and Burton Fine, as well as other Juilliard teachers and studies with Robert Soetens in France, I have been fortunate to enjoy over twenty years of teaching violin, viola and piano students. I am currently teaching in Central Florida as well as online through my Unique Musicality curriculum business. My initial studio experience began during my education at New England Conservatory, where I began teaching young students in the Boston area. Later, I was able to give master classes, private and group lessons in France and Asia as a member of touring orchestras. I currently teach lessons as well as providing master classes for select students and organizations. For the past two summers, I was a coach and performer at the Assisi Performing Arts Chamber Music Festival in Assisi, Italy. I have also been a judge in various Youth Symphony competitions as well as civic organizations that hold music competitions, such as the Kiwanis Club Arts and Music competition. My students have achieved entrance into summer conservatory programs including Peabody’s Music Summer Camp, Emory University’s Atlanta Chamber Music Festival, Franklin Pond Summer Intensive Chamber music program, Assisi Italy Performing Arts Chamber Music Festival, as well as continuing their college studies at Music Schools and Conservatories.

Viola and violin lessons suited for all ages and levels! I am originally form Argentina, and a recent graduate form the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (with a Masters degree in music performance -viola). I have lived in many different countries and played with a variety of ensembles, I am sure together we will find the best way to learn and practice these beatiful instruments in the best possible way (: Classes can be offered in English, Portuguese, or Spanish (French coming soon!) For the younger ones, lessons will be oriented towards the Suzuki method (until ages 12/13)

I've been playing the violin for many years and have a passion for teaching others to explore their own musical abilities. My lessons are adaptable to all levels, whether you are just beginning or already have some experience with the violin. In my classes, we will focus on developing proper technique and exploring a range of musical styles such as classical, folk, or even modern music. I have been teaching violin and music in general for the past 7 years working, with every kind of student, from children to adults, professional and amateur, beginner and not. I am a very patient teacher and I always try to find many different material and new stimuli to exercise and stay motivated. I completed my musical studies in Italy, but I had the chance to spend some time studying and playing in Belgium and Austria too. Alongside teaching, I play in orchestras and ensembles and I also continued studying, getting a master degree in baroque violin.

I am a professional violinist. I graduated with distinction at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Master) and hold a Bachelor Diploma from Codarts (Rotterdam). I also pursued a masters degree in Music Education at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. I teach students of all ages and levels. I have thirteen years of teaching experience in the Netherlands and in Belgium ( privately and at music schools: Hart Muziekschool in Haarlem and Vioolstudio 020! in Amsterdam). In my lessons I help the students to find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of aural skills, sense of rhythm and an optimal body use, enabling them to connect with their musical imagination. The lessons are adapted to each student's needs and wishes.
