I am a Suzuki trained teacher through world renown Mimi Zweig, Joshua Bell and Hilary Hahn’s own teacher! I studied with Grigory Kalinovsky and Mauricio Fuks at the Jacobs School of Music as well as Violaine Melancon at McGill University. I have been playing the violin for 20 years and teaching since I was 16, and I have great passion for music education for all ages. I will customise your lessons to what you need, from classical to folk to fiddling!

Passionate about music, I obtained my certificate of musical studies in 2019, which marked the end of my violin course at the conservatory. I subsequently played in the McGill Beethoven Orchestra and am now 1st violin at the Philarmonie Jeunesse de Montréal (PJM). I have 15 years of violin practice and 9 years of music theory behind me, and I would like to share with you this passion for music. I give violin lessons to beginners or intermediate students, or even to advanced students who would need a guide in their work. I can also teach music theory. I adapt to your requests! After studying violin and piano in Boston, at New England Conservatory with Eric Rosenblith, Master Classes with Dorothy DeLay, chamber music with Leslie Parnas and Burton Fine, as well as other Juilliard teachers and studies with Robert Soetens in France, I have been fortunate to enjoy over twenty years of teaching violin, viola and piano students. I am currently teaching in Central Florida as well as online through my Unique Musicality curriculum business. My initial studio experience began during my education at New England Conservatory, where I began teaching young students in the Boston area. Later, I was able to give master classes, private and group lessons in France and Asia as a member of touring orchestras. I currently teach lessons as well as providing master classes for select students and organizations. For the past two summers, I was a coach and performer at the Assisi Performing Arts Chamber Music Festival in Assisi, Italy. I have also been a judge in various Youth Symphony competitions as well as civic organizations that hold music competitions, such as the Kiwanis Club Arts and Music competition. My students have achieved entrance into summer conservatory programs including Peabody’s Music Summer Camp, Emory University’s Atlanta Chamber Music Festival, Franklin Pond Summer Intensive Chamber music program, Assisi Italy Performing Arts Chamber Music Festival, as well as continuing their college studies at Music Schools and Conservatories.

The trumpet: its correct technical execution and the interpretation of popular and academic universal repertoires, is available to everyone regardless of their age. We will build a logical sequence of studies that will help develop the technical aspects. And we will address repertoires according to the age and taste of the student. we will draw a path with short, medium and long term goals. we will build a technical routine and healthy habits to progress correctly. In addition, we will select musical pieces by mutual agreement to mature the technical development hand in hand with musical growth. I am a professional trumpeter, I have participated in symphony orchestras, wind bands, big band, and small chamber and jazz ensembles. I have extensive experience teaching children, youth and adults. For me it is very important to make music from the first lesson, because there must be a balance between technical practice and its application in small melodies or musical pieces. No matter the musical genre, we will always find a repertoire according to the level and interest of each student. If you already know how to play and you need to perfect a piece or prepare a recital or audition, you can count on my experience and accompaniment as well.

The theory of everything tends to be really scary and music theory can be too. I am very keen to make music theory easy for everyone. For some people there is only one way to tackle the unmentionable but I believe there are many different approaches and one of them will click with you. It is simply finding out what is best for each person. Once we find the key we can unlock the problems that have puzzled you for ages. Music theory needs to be more than a requirement, it needs to be the way to really appreciate the music you are playing. Certain aspects can also lead to additional practical skills such as improvisation which can be very useful as well as very enjoyable. With over 8 years of experience as a Solfege, Oriental Solfege, Oud, and Oriental singing teacher, I am a Lebanese musician currently residing in Mönchengladbach, Germany.
