My teaching method follows the same tone as the courses in the conservatory. I adapt according to the styles of each student. I can teach a 10-year-old child as well as a 60-year-old adult (Music has no age.) I teach at my home (Hospitals Faculties) or at your home depending on everyone's availability. The learning will be complete with study on musical training, on the instrument and on help with musical composition if necessary and at the request of the student.

I try to make the student work in a fun way for easier assimilation. No matter the age, there is always time to learn to play a musical instrument. You just need to be patient and diligent. My name is Torjus and I want to teach your children or yourself piano and saxophone. I am a generalist, more than a specialist, so that way I can teach basics in many areas. We can do techniques, practicing techniques, music theory, ear training, sight reading, playing together. I do mostly classical and rhytmical music and also a little jazz. The lessons are adapted to your skill level, and we will also talk about how you can help yourself get better. Welcome to my piano teaching studio! I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons for students of all levels. As a pianist with over 14 years of teaching experience in Europe and the USA, as well as over 23 years of playing/performing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the learning process. If the student is interested in a more structured approach, I guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) piano and music theory exams where my students consistently receive highest marks.
