They read interesting books every day when they come from work unless they are very tired. etc. (Of course, these sentences will be in Russian. ) I make worksheets which guide students to speak about particular topics. During the lessons my students and I may also read interesting texts in the internet, analyze their grammar structures, vocabulary and even discuss them. I always correct my students' mistakes when they speak or write. Russian grammar can be complicated sometimes, but if you know it well, you will not make critical mistakes. Correcting pronunciation mistakes is also very important.
