I am a composer and musician with two degrees in music from the Conservatorio G. Verdi in Milan and an international artistic career. My music is regularly programmed at international festivals and I collaborate with institutions, foundations and festivals active in the field of contemporary music. My lessons are aimed at anyone who wants to become a composer, whether they are a beginner or already at an advanced level. The path I follow is always tailored to the specific needs of each student. From reading note letters, implementing a proper form to sight reading a piece, we are gonna learn in our own pace. If you're just learning music now and it feels like there's a lot to understand, don't worry we're gonna start from the basics. I will help you understand music and its elements. Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. The lessons would take place at my home in Mol or via webcam. If necessary, we can always agree on something else. Dear students: My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education. My experience runs mostly in early and classical music with an active performing life, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals. As a docent or vocal coach I've collaborate with different academic institutions and private artistic projects, focusing mostly on international students or social integration programs. I have years of experience teaching children, teenagers and adults in both Latin-America and Europe, therefore understanding different appreciation levels and needs. My main goal is to help the student discover her or his voice while enjoying making music. **Class suggestions and indications** No experience is needed just bring your enthusiasm and favorite music. Composition is one of most exam boards requirements for GCSE and A-level Music. In particular, to write a piece ranging from 2 - 3 minutes in length for either solo or chamber groups of instruments. I am majoring in composition at university and I specialise in tutoring music for students taking GCSE and/or A-level, having studied and taken these A-levels through the AQA Exam specification. Composition may appear overwhelming and it is my aim that my students will be able to find the beauty in writing music and being able to cope with the stresses of writing music; by equipping them with both the necessary skills of writing music, but also how to push through the various challenges that come with it (And perhaps most importantly, how to achieve excellent marks for your coursework)! Hello! I am a 29 years old classical pianist with a Master's degree at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag. I have taught Piano (and also Music Education) since 2016, to both children and adults. Teaching allows me to bring my passion and enthusiasm for music to the students, and I also find it incredibly rewarding to guide and follow their musical and technical development! I am easily adaptable to the student's musical tastes and expectations/goals in music learning, and I am also very mindful of how I communicate, according to the students' ages and personalities. My approach consists of giving you the necessary theoretical knowledge for what you wish to play; involving you actively in the choice of the pieces/songs you will play; setting up a long-term plan for your repertoire, so that your development is made step by step in a challenging - but achievable - way (and this way, you will feel more motivated!); giving you enjoyable and creative practicing strategies; creating rich imagery revolving around the piece - by making up a story, relating the music to emotions, etc.; and also positive feedback!
