Hello My name is Matilda and I'm a Secondary Maths teacher in an outstanding school. Prior to teaching I have 7 years experience in education by being a high level maths teaching assistant and tutoring. I gained my secondary maths PGCE from Manchester metropolitan university and I also have a degree in Economics I have always believed there is more than one way to teach mathematics which is why I learn about the children and assess how they learn, which enables me to plan series of lessons that suit their needs. I am available for tutoring immediately. I usually start out by doing some standard questions in the first two sessions, but after I've picked up where my tutee may be struggling (or if they ask me for specific help) I make a personalised timetable of study - which usually includes a manageable amount of extra work. My name is Belén, I am originally from Spain and have just moved to Manchester. I am fluent in both Spanish and English and I studied Linguistics and Literature at the University of Alcalá. This class is for those who are interested in learning Spanish and are just getting started. I studied English as a second language so I know how challenging learning a foreign language can be. My lessons will be focused on understanding how Spanish grammar works and also on its practical use in an everyday context.
