I have taught classes at all levels and I am always excited by the progress of my students. I am currently a teacher at the Institute of Performing Arts in Madrid. I have experience with students at both beginner, basic and advanced levels. I also teach formal and non-regulated classes. I prepare entrance exams at both professional and advanced levels, with success so far with all the students I have had and who have taken them, and I always adapt to the needs of each person or profile. I also have experience teaching music theory and music theory at all four levels of musical language.

My name is Blanca and I am a lyrical singer graduated from the Escuela Superior de Canto de Madrid. Master in Spanish and Latin American music. Active singer and teacher. The classes are made up of a first technical part with specific exercises to learn how the voice works and training various aspects of the voice such as breathing, air, connection, resonators, etc. with various types of vocalizations focused on working on different aspects. Then we work on the works and songs, applying the knowledge acquired to the repertoire, focusing on the emission, expressiveness and vocal technique necessary for the work and style. We also study the phonetics of the language of the song (Spanish, English, French, German and Italian). The Tecla y Música Workshop is a space designed to learn and develop your musical and expressive sense through the piano and / or keyboards. The main objective is to learn to make music and enjoy the learning process and its results. The material with which we work (songs, instrumental pieces and exercises) is mainly oriented to your musical taste, and the choice is based on gradually expanding your technical and expressive possibilities, while exploring different musical styles. In this way, different tools are being incorporated to achieve, in a short term, mastery and fluency over the musical language and the instrument. Given that each student has different interests and concerns, whether playing as a hobby or developing a professional career, composing, improvising, etc., the orientation of the classes is built according to the possibilities and particular needs of each case. The work proposal implies a weekly class frequency to achieve optimal work dynamics and that the results are visible in a short term. There is also the possibility of taking isolated classes in order to solve a specific objective such as developing and perfecting some particular aspect of music practice and / or theory as well as preparing instrument exams or theoretical subjects for institutions of musical studies.

My objective is to share the knowledge in Carnatic music that I have gained over all these years with the same passion that I learned it with. My teaching techniques involve discussing theories, understanding ragam, talam, and its built, and appreciation of Carnatic, light and film music creations. I would teach and encourage my students to listen to the previously created music and discuss its intricacies. You can learn from the basics to the advanced level along with vocal exercises and breathing exercises required for the music practice. You can get trained to perform in open-stage concerts and competitions as well.
