Afterwards if you want I can explain the grammatical theories to why things are better said a certain way. If we start from 0, we’ll focus on vocabulary and grammar and very easy basic sentences to start with. If you like, we can also go over school exercises together to see where you can advance and work towards better grades.

Hello there My name is Hatice and I live in Belgium. I worked in the Ministry of Education for 5 years in Turkey. I like to teach you Turkish, but I also like to learn by having fun in the lessons and to teach by including some cultural and traditional subjects. By attending my classes, you can learn both Turkish and cultural approaches.

I specialize in teaching Arabic and Darija to foreign speakers. My goal is to challenge but not to overwhelm the student. I give homework after every lesson and give periodic progress reports. I also teach my students how to speak classical Arabic or Moroccan Darija in a few months. I only come to your home for groups of 3 or more people in Antwerp, since I live in Antwerp myself. In my classes of English, Spanish or Dutch you will be talking immediately thanks to the specific pedagogy I use. I put you into your learning objective context and explain grammar 'by experience', using role plays, synonyms and explanations in the target language. Moreover, you will be using vocabulary straight away and progress significantly in this way. Specific technical language such as medical, biological, business or other language are possible too and will be agreed upon while we do the intake needs analysis by phone.

As a bachelor Language and Literature (Dutch-French) and master Business Communication (Dutch-French) I have a broad knowledge of Dutch and French for both private and business use. I am currently working as an account manager for an IT company in the Brussels region. That means that I often have to make phone calls in French. This not only provides academic knowledge, but also practical knowledge. In addition, I have years of experience as a language animator and internship supervisor at CLIP Taalvakanties and I therefore know better than anyone how to teach children a language and make them enthusiastic.
