Custom Saxophone Lessons from all styles for everyone

Hi, my name is Francisco. I am an argentinian guitar player currently located in Maastricht, Netherlands. I have been playing and studying music for many years and Im also actively performing and recording for my own or other people's projects. I have been teaching for more than 8 years now and I have experience working together with begginer, intermediate and more advanced students. At the moment, I am narrowing my lessons for people who already know the basics and want to expand on their knowledge. I am a jazz guitar player and my main interest is improvisation but the lessons are not limited to people looking to learn jazz, but also to those with interest in blues, rock, pop, etc. Some of the things we will be working on are: Triads, Scales, Voicings, Time Feel, Rhythm, Repertoire, Tools for playing in a band, Comping, and more. The lessons can either be online via Zoom or Google Meet, or at my place in Maastricht. (Of course, I am open to teach beginner students as well in some cases, upon discussion.)

So, learn some saxophone, some jazz skills, and music theory in a tried-and-tested way developed over my many years of teaching. I am as passionate about improvisation as the saxophone itself, the two go together beautifully. I am Julia, a professional saxophonist originally from Montreal, Canada. I live in the Netherlands for 4 years and have a Master's degree in Music. I compose, engineer and perform music. I also love to teach, I have experiences with ages 9 to 90. The main idea of my teaching philosophy is to get the sound in your head out into the air. "Guided Fearless Music-Making" is my motto!

Hey! I give private piano lessons for kids and adults in Maastricht. I offer piano lessons based on the individual program from the level, personal interests, and aspirations. Therefore teaching methods and materials will always be chosen in consultation with the student. I have worked in music schools with children and I have taught private lessons for 5 years dealing with people of all ages. Lessons can be given in Spanish or English and it is also possible to give in my location, in yours, or by online too. It is never too late to do something you really want to do!

Individual lessons based on the needs of each student, using a mix of classic and innovative teaching methods. Lessons are one hour, 45 minutes or 30 minutes each, but can be adapted as required. I believe a good technique is fundamental and can make you enjoy playing music more, and together with that comes development of a person's musicality, I can help you develop both a good technique and a your musicality so that you can achieve a nice musical expression. To stay organized and cover all the essentials, I like to split the lesson in parts, depending on your skill level of course. In a lesson of one hour we can cover theoretical music skills, breath work, reed exercises, etudes and technical exercises and pieces. We can also play duos together! Because I have a lot of experience making reeds, I can make and adjust your reeds to your maximal comfort. Life can get hectic, so I'm all about flexibility. We can find a time during the week that works for both of us, and we'll make sure our lessons fit seamlessly into your schedule. I am a professional opera singer with 10 years of performance experience as a freelancer in the UK, now working and living in the Netherlands. I have a Bachelor of Music (honours) in singing from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London. I also have 12 years of teaching experience, working both privately and in schools. I have taught the ages 10-70 and have an encouraging and dynamic style of teaching. I like people to enjoy their music lessons but believe that breathing and support technique is essential in singing all genres of music. I am very confident and have a lot of experience in preparing students for both classical and music theatre singing exams. I have a 100% pass rate with many entrants gaining merit or distinction marks.

Welcome to my piano teaching studio! I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons for students of all levels. As a pianist with over 14 years of teaching experience in Europe and the USA, as well as over 23 years of playing/performing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the learning process. If the student is interested in a more structured approach, I guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) piano and music theory exams where my students consistently receive highest marks. I also have successful experience preparing students for conservatory entrance auditions, masterclasses, and competitions in the Europe, the USA, India, and Canada. We have class concerts at Pianos Maene for interested students twice per year. I am happy to provide either a more relaxed or a serious approach to learning piano, we simply need to discuss the personal goals and preferences of each student. My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate performance degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music." Prior to this, I received my Bachelor and Masters degrees in Piano Performance/Music from the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis and Texas Christian University, Fort Worth (USA). My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as a soloist and collaborative member in several orchestras, and receiving top prizes in several competitions. While maintaining my performance and recording career in Belgium at present, I am developing my private music studio in central Antwerp and look forward to meeting new students.

With this course I offer music theory, transverse and recorder classes for all levels, from the youngest to the oldest. The course can be adapted to each student and their preferences when it comes to learning. From getting to know the history of music a little better, learning to read sheet music, learning more about harmony, analyzing compositions or learning a new instrument. These are some of the options but I am always open to students and their preferences.
