Philosophy

I offer language, French, philosophy and history-geography lessons from primary school to high school and even beyond (for English lessons in particular). In addition to explanations on the programs of the various subjects mentioned, I offer methodological courses on the model of baccalaureate exercises (dissertation, text commentary, document commentary, etc.). Classes begin with a repeat of the lessons studied in class. I then propose an exercise where I accompany the student to explain the method applied to a particular example. At the end, I test his understanding by giving him an exercise to do on his own, which we will then correct together in the next lesson.

Philosophy is much more than a simple method; it's a more general way of positioning ourselves, even a way of life. At its core, it's critical thinking and the ability to see beyond what's left unsaid and unclear, and to find information, question, and arrive at a more nuanced vision of the world. Together we will begin with everyday facts to explore the foundations of philosophy, look for clues in the history of thought and learn to be independent in our critical thinking. I also support the questioning of major texts and problems posed in literature courses, philosophy courses in middle school, and preparation for the Swiss maturity, see prep for university studies. You can choose one of the following three part as your learning content Chinese daily conversation: You will be introduced to the basics of the Chinese language, its structure, and its unique features, including the writing system, tones, and grammar.
