​​Hello, my name is Alex and I am a certified Violin teacher of 7 years. Additionally to my teaching passion, I have performed in Carnegie Hall, Chicago Orchestra Hall, Sydney Opera House, among others, with orchestras including Classical Symphony Orchestra, Paderewski Symphony Orchestra and Protege Philharmonic. I have performed with chamber groups including the Cras Trio and 20+ Modern Ensemble. I currently teach violin face-to-face in Bordeaux, France and Angouleme, France. I also work with students online who would like to recieve extra practice prior to orchestra auditions or competitions. I have an active music company Violin Inc. that creates music opportunities and concerts for amateur musicians. It also provides educational lessons specifically for violin learning, using Suzuki and ABRSM methods with a mixture of American and European techniques. * Learning violin online does cause extra obstacles, but I assure you it is possible with the right tools and patience. My teaching methodology is created with a mixture of several music methods that suit each individual independently. We create the music method so that it suits your needs and helps you grow consistently. I enjoy teaching classical music and classic-pop music. I believe in note reading as an essential part of violin training, so reading music and understanding simple theory is always included during lessons. Violin learning is the process of discovering one's own voice through the infinite possibilities that this four strings instrument has to offer. From sparkling, intense and rough to pure, kind and crystalline; learning the violin, as many other arts, is about freeing the emotion through the discipline and order of sound and movement. Let me introduce myself. I am Ángeles, an Andalusian in Finland, finishing my master degree in Music Performance at the prestigious Sibelius Academy with great professor Mari Tampere-Bezrodny. I came to Helsinki two years ago seeking for a personal and cultural growth, with huge passion for music and the need to share it. I discovered in violin teaching a new path to that energy to come true, to materialize, by inspiring and leading enthusiastic students to their best performance. The starting level and goals of the student will determine the direction of the lessons. I aim to strike a balance as much as possible between teaching technical skills and musicality, as of course there cannot be one without the other when learning an instrument. Lessons are a mixture of teaching and demonstrating correct posture, finger patterns or body movements, and teaching and engaging a learner with rhythm, pitch and melody, and then combining them together. I am a firm believer in tackling one aspect at a time in lessons and gradually combining it with another aspect of playing. I often include activities such as playing a note and asking the student to match my pitch or sound quality, or including musical games that can develop musical memory and rhythm. The most important aspect of learning any instrument is of course the music! Aiming to help a student find music (or if they have ideas they are welcome to bring them along!) that they love and find absorbing - this can be any genre, as long as it has a tune! I have a variety of books of different levels that I can use to help students find styles that are fun and enjoyable for them. There are technical things that need to be worked on in playing any instrument - but of fundamental importance is that the student has a feel for the music they play and a musical idea of what the end goal of any piece is.

My goal is to make people of all ages and levels learn not only playing an instrument but how can music help them in their everyday life. I am an Albanian violinist, with a Bachelor degree in Classical Music (Violin) and Musicologie in Sorbonne University. Over the years, my experiences with different youth and professional orchestras all around Europe have made me understand that music is important not only for professional musicians but also for everyone. I can teach in English or French and of course in my mother tongue Albanian.

I am a professional violinist. I graduated with distinction at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Master) and hold a Bachelor Diploma from Codarts (Rotterdam). I also pursued a masters degree in Music Education at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. I teach students of all ages and levels. I have thirteen years of teaching experience in the Netherlands and in Belgium ( privately and at music schools: Hart Muziekschool in Haarlem and Vioolstudio 020! in Amsterdam). In my lessons I help the students to find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of aural skills, sense of rhythm and an optimal body use, enabling them to connect with their musical imagination. The lessons are adapted to each student's needs and wishes.
