Dear future pianist - child, teenager or adult With a 15 years experience in music education, I would be very happy to teach you piano and solfeggio. I like listening to you and responding to your requests. Our agreement is a fundamental element. I like to stir your musical curiosity by giving you new references. Reading music and knowledge of music theory can help you achieve a solid foundation, but we will adapt. I can teach you from the first class simple and beautiful melodies in the classical repertoire or others. The main thing will be that you leave the course with a smile, a motivation and effective methods on pieces to train you during the week. The goal will be to make you more and more autonomous. I will organize regular snacks / concerts in a friendly atmosphere for those who wish.

My lessons take place in a good mood, but with the necessary requirement to progress well! Music must be above all a pleasure, so I am always kind, patient, and attentive. I do not apply a pre-established pedagogy, I adapt to the needs of each. For some, learning goes faster by imitation, by ear; for others it passes through technical benchmarks; still others need to appropriate the tools through creation (I sometimes have my students compose songs). My diverse background allows me to approach both the classical repertoire, to build a sound and solid technique, but also variety and jazz, for those who dream for example to get on a piano and improvise what comes to them! I can also teach you music training, writing, arrangement (I have Sibelius 7), and I can help you compose songs or harmonize melodies. I obtained my piano prize unanimously and my improvement prize at the Regional Conservatory of Saint-Maur. I am currently continuing my studies at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Lyon. I have a solid teaching experience, having worked in several conservatories and music schools in the Paris region. I give piano and music theory lessons for all ages and all levels in Lyon.

From my childhood I have been studying music and art: sang in choir and solo, played piano, painted, studied music history and literature, solfeggio. Later in college I have also learned choir conducting, had ensemble and choir singing lessons, cultural studies. During last year in university I had pedagogy practice at university and at private art school (where I worked as a music tutor before the war - piano, voice). I truly enjoyed working with students. They all were different age (8 - 40+ years old) and level. But all were very interesting and work was pleasant. My education was very various: my core subjects were conducting, choir, voice, piano. So it allowed me to work with children, teens and adults with quite wide range of interests and needs: some students needed/wanted to learn particular composition(s), sometimes pop songs arrangements, some were interested in “introduction” to the music, some wanted to renew skills they gained in their childhood and continue their journey to the music world. In addition I prepared presentations (which contained information about cultural and historical background and musical and character/art analysis). So after graduation from choir conducting faculty (which allowed me to deepen my knowledge in many important compatible branches) I concentrated on studying classical singing and piano, expanded my cultural studies and analysis knowledge, practiced solfeggio and harmony.
