I offer playful piano and music theory lessons for all ages and different levels. Depending on the student's preferences, I teach online, in the village center of Schwyz or in Lugano. In addition to German, I also speak fluent French, English and Italian. I received my Master of Arts in Music Pedagogy at the Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana in Lugano, where I also received training in contemporary music. In addition to a bachelor's degree in piano, I am a qualified music and theater scientist. I would be very happy to teach you and introduce you to this beautiful instrument!

For 17 years I have been playing this beautiful instrument and for 5 years I have been sharing my experience with adults and children. I have recently moved to Lugano to study at MAS at the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana. Now I am looking for new students in a new country for me. From reading note letters, implementing a proper form to sight reading a piece, we are gonna learn in our own pace. If you're just learning music now and it feels like there's a lot to understand, don't worry we're gonna start from the basics. I will help you understand music and its elements. Avec 7 ans d’expérience derrière moi et une quarantaine d’élèves ,je pense que meilleure méthode de cours se base sur une approche transversale, liant dès le début l’apprentissage corporel de l’instrument à l'intention musicale de l'élève. Comment exprimer telle ou telle émotion sur le piano avec notre corps ? Que l’on apprenne le piano simplement pour le plaisir ou vers une professionnalisation, cette approche s’adapte au désirs de tous. Adultes et enfants de tout âge sont les bienvenus, le premier cours étant toujours offert, chez moi sur un piano à Queue. En dehors du Piano Classique et du solfège, on peut aussi aborder le Piano Jazz, l’improvisation, la composition et les traditions musicales Indiennes et Indonésiennes. Avec les enfants, cela prend la forme d'une didactique adaptée à l'âge, ludique, avec laquelle je cerne un ou deux objectifs spécifiques à accomplir qui permettent de communiquer des notions complexes d’une manière simple. Apprendre par l’expérience du corps permet d’aborder toutes ces choses d’une manière dirigée et facilement accessible La compréhension du rapport entre son et corps, c’est surtout comprendre que par l’apprentissage on unifie des éléments séparés. Les signes et les idées musicales qui se trouvent sur la partition, les mouvements respectifs de nos mains, les sons produits ensuite et entendus par nos oreilles forment un tout. C’est ce tout qui s’exprime comme musique, c'est-à-dire quelque chose de plus que ces éléments pris séparément. Comprendre ce rapport, c’est sentir plus nettement comment la musique nous touche et comment l’on peut toucher les autres avec la musique.

At my studio my students will not only learn how to play the piano, but they will receive a complete musical education in order to achieve their musical dreams. I will give all my best so everybody will get the tools for developing their own voice, helping them to master the instrument and teaching them all the theoretical knowledge they’ll need to make their particular personality shine. And if the students wish, I can help them to prepare for the ABRSM exams and competitions as well. All this is aiming to achieve in a very practical and exciting experience the best results in the fastest way possible. But if the profile and the interests of the students goes on another way, I will give them all the tools they need to understand the language of music in depth, so they can find their own voice on the instrument. In that case the lessons will include contents of piano technique, score reading, applied harmony on the keyboard, composition, improvisation, musical arrangement, music production, recording techniques, jazz and pop music analysis and performance. Both programs can be combined depending on the focus and the profile of the student, or in case the student would like to go deeper in one of the previously mentioned subjects there is the opportunity to take an independent course of specialization on the desired topic. At the end of the semester every student will perform at the winter and summer concerts held every year and will have the possibility of making a recording session with the material worked during the term. With this, the student will not only be able to see his progress and work, but also will give him a direct experience of performing and working on a live or studio recording session, which is a fundamental part of the developing process of every musician. Hello! I am a 29 years old classical pianist with a Master's degree at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag. I have taught Piano (and also Music Education) since 2016, to both children and adults.
