If you are looking for an engaging, patient teacher, familiar with the language acquisition process, I could be the right fit for you! It is becoming increasingly valuable to be able to speak several languages, and finding a personal tutor is a great way to start! This class will help you on your journey to learning French. The beginning of learning a language can be a daunting experience but I aim to make it approachable, fun and comprehensible for beginners, and help to expand your skills in the language. I am familiar with young children and I understand the value in making learning a memorable, engaging and fun experience. However, I am happy to work with people of all ages looking for someone to guide them through the basics of the French language and lead them to advanced! I study French language and society at the top university in the UK, so I am able to apply the skills I acquire through rigorous teaching, and transform them into an approachable teaching style.

Tutoring for International Baccalaureate (IB) Maths AA HL/SL, Chemistry HL/SL, Physics HL/SL and for International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) International Mathematics (0607), Additional Mathematics (0606), Physics (0625) Chemistry (0620). I aim to make sure students understand material intuitively first before delving into complicated questions and foster a friendly and patient learning environment. Instead of relying on memorising formulas, I teach students how to derive the formulas themselves, build upon their previous knowledge and use them to solve complex questions in a simple way, building their confidence in the process. To facilitate this, I use metaphors and every-day things to construct stories that help students remember concepts and relationships between them. My lessons are tailored to each student's needs, preferences and learning style so I am able to accommodate specific requests. I can help students work on improving both overall understanding of the subject as well as detailed and thorough understanding of specific topics/sub-topics. As someone who sat these exams myself, I know what the most common mistakes in each topic are, the best exam techniques and have lots of tips, tricks and resources I can share! During this class we will cover all the key components that you need in order to excel in GCSE French speaking. We will cover idiomatic phrases, verb tenses and high level vocabulary to help you stand out during your examination. We will also go over some basics of grammar to ensure no points are lost due to silly mistakes or misconceptions! Classes can be remote or in person depending the location.

Maths is an important subject that opens many doors for you in the future, and getting good results on your maths GCSE is vital if you wish to enter a good college, sixth form, or university. My name is Brandon, and I am an A level maths student, and I achieved a grade 9 in my maths GCSE in 2023. I can help you to develop your mathematical skills and prepare you for your GCSEs, as I have up to date knowledge about what knowledge is required for your GCSEs, as I have recently completed them.

I teach GCSE Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Review all the topics, solve topic questions and practice with past papers again and again. This will help you master all the key points and understand the concept better.

I tutor Mathematics at GCSE, A-level, BSc and MSc level. A bit about me and why I would love to be your tutor in mathematics! I am currently pursuing my PhD in Artificial Intelligence at University College London, where my research focuses on applying AI to enhance energy efficiency in the built environment. Prior to my doctoral studies, I earned a First Class Honours degree in Mathematics from Warwick University. I also completed an MSc in Statistics and an MSc in Applied Biotechnology and Biosciences, both from Imperial College London, with Merit. My other academic achievements include A* A* A grades in Further Mathematics, Mathematics, and Biology A-Levels, along with 12 A* grades at GCSE in various subjects, including FSMQ Mathematics, and OCR Additional Mathematics. I also achieved a Merit in Advanced Extension Award Mathematics (AEA). In terms of tutoring, I have some experience tutoring GCSE Sciences and Mathematics, as well as A-level Biology and A-level Mathematics. Currently, I am in the process of becoming a Postgraduate teaching assistant at UCL. As part of this training, I actively teach several lectures and workshops each week in mathematics and computer science at MSc and BSc levels. Additionally, I offer career coaching for individuals seeking finance-related internships and preparing for interviews.

In my classes the students will be a part of an interactive session of solving time-sensitive short questions as a brainstorming exercise, proceeding with covering topics from the start of the syllabus, solving questions as we move on and understanding the difficult level that the student is easily able to pass. This will be followed by recognising the topics that the student is finding difficult and then explaining them through short lectures and diagrams, helping the student have a better grasp at the concepts. I will ensure constant feedback after each of my classes to understand the students problems and tailoring my lessons according to that. Moreover the students' progress will be monitored and tracked through short weekly assessments based on past paper questions allowing the student to be comfortable with the exam-style questions and avoid falling for the exam pressure. 3rd Year Electronic and Information Engineering student at Imperial College London. Recent graduate from a French engineering school, I am now a postgraduate student at Imperial College. I have always loved mathematics and I would like to share my love for the science with anyone who needs it. My goal is to make maths and physics simpler and funnier to study in order to help as many students as I can. I have already given mathematics classes in France and have developed a certain way of working. Usually, I first go over the lecture with the student, we read the principles and I take as much time is needed to answer any questions they might have. Then, we move on to exercises for the student to practice and apply what was learned in the lecture. The only key really in to go at your pace, there is no rush and the goal is for you to reach the understanding you desire.
