Hi, I’m Sarah! I am both an Opera Singer and a classroom Music Teacher. My love for teaching and singing have always lived side by side. I constantly seek any opportunity to share my passion, whether that be in front of an audience or a classroom of students. I have always loved expressing myself through music, regardless of the genre. In fact, in a past life, I really wanted to be a country singer. My philosophy as a teacher is to have student specific teaching styles that are all about helping YOU achieve the goals that you want to achieve! Whether it be your high school/university recital, auditions, or preparing for a gig, our lessons will be tailor-made to you. My job is to give you the confidence to enjoy your voice. I am an Operatic Soprano yet I have sung across many genres for many years. Once you have a good technique you will be able to sing in whatever style you choose! My operatic technique allows me to sing over a full orchestra without a microphone, and without causing vocal damage. In our lessons, I will be able to share with you these tools to healthy singing that enhances your natural tone. You will learn microphone technique, as well as performance techniques that will help you to better convey a character to an audience. I’ve taught people of all ages and helped my students reach performance and exam goals, with a teaching style that emphasises love of music, curiosity, thoroughness, and fun. I'm a professional composer and pianist, graduated from Music at Cambridge with a starred first, starting a Composition masters in London autumn 2022. At university I had works performed and workshopped by noteworthy musicians such as Judith Weir.

I am able to work with all ages and all levels of ability and experience. Whether you are starting from the beginning or you are a more experienced player looking to sharpen-up your playing, I am more than able to find a way to work with you based on what you wish to accomplish! I am also very happy to work with those who are preparing for exams and auditions to give an extra perspective and to give additional training and advice. Born in Edinburgh, I graduated from King's College London in 2019 with an undergraduate degree in musicology. I attained my Flute Diploma (ABRSM) with distinction, and am continuing my studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, graduating in 2021. I am the winner of the British Flute Society's Young Artist Prize 2020 and the Guildhall Needlemakers' Prize for Woodwind 2020. In light of Covid-19 I am very happy to give online lessons. I am unable to teach from my home therefore I am more than happy to travel in order to teach.

About the classes: Created for complete beginners and those with some experience of Piano and Singing technique, this classes serve as an ideal starting point to develop piano and singing technique, to work on improvisation skills and sight-reading, to learn in depth music theory and chords and also to explore various music genres, to build up personal portfolio, self-confidence and stage presence. Special programme for younger beginners “Music Wonderland” has been specifically designed for children as young as 3.5 up to 7 years old. In addition I offer classes on music yoga and therapy which bring harmony, balance and open creative powers of an artist. Classes take place individually and in a group.

Personalised piano teaching for all ages, from beginner to advanced. I am passionate about encouraging confidence in each pupil, whatever stage they are at! I trained in classical piano at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. I am also a trained actor (LAMDA foundation and Oxford School of Drama MA), which is very helpful for my music teaching. I also love coaching students through Drama School auditions and LAMDA exams.

I am a jazz/pop pianist. I was the LSE jazz pianist and have been regularly performing at various gigs, functions and even hotels in Malaysian and London. I have taught several students how to play pop/jazz/play by ear and ever since they have achieved independence in playing the tunes they enjoy and I hope to do the same with you.

Knowledge of an instrument is not necessary to start producing music.

I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.

For beginners wanting to delve into music theory to amateurs preparing for exams, this class will be suitable whatever standard you are. Through the forms of visual, practice and reading, you can learn the very basics of music theory and build upon your knowledge. This class can guide students currently preparing for ABRSM Grade 5 or 8 and will prepare you to take the exam. This class will cover the basics of reading and understanding sheet music, scales, modes, key signatures, learning intervals, chord symbols, progressions and many more!

My Background I started playing organ in church when I was 10 years old. I quickly enrolled at my nearest Conservatory where I have been for 12 years, studying Organ and classical composition for 8 years. I continued with jazz piano studies, and graduated in 2021. I have been performing since 2016, in folk, pop and jazz ensembles around Italy and now I am continuing my music studies in Valencia, at the Berklee College of Music. I am a Spanish pianist and composer (MMus graduate from Codarts Rotterdam in both directions) with many years of teaching experience, and also very active in performing in various contexts. I give private piano lessons for all levels and styles (classical, jazz, Latin, new age, pop...), as well as music theory, composition and improvisation lessons. My lessons are distinguished by their dynamics, practical approach and adaptation to the needs and interests of the student. The lessons (live or online) take place in my studio next to the Maastunnel, where I have a premium stage piano and a top-quality webcam setup. I speak Dutch at an intermediate level, which is improving every day.

Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. The lessons would take place at my home in Mol or via webcam. If necessary, we can always agree on something else. Dear students: My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education. My experience runs mostly in early and classical music with an active performing life, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals. As a docent or vocal coach I've collaborate with different academic institutions and private artistic projects, focusing mostly on international students or social integration programs. I have years of experience teaching children, teenagers and adults in both Latin-America and Europe, therefore understanding different appreciation levels and needs. My main goal is to help the student discover her or his voice while enjoying making music. **Class suggestions and indications** No experience is needed just bring your enthusiasm and favorite music. Classes can be given either in English, Spanish, French or Deutsch. There are no limit for styles, bring your favorite music and I will provide a safe environment for your personal and musical growth.
