Mathematics (at all levels) and high-school Physics. SAT, GRE, and GMAT exam preparation.
Experienced teacher (international schools and private tutoring) with a Master's degree in Mathematics, currently doing a Master's in Statistics at KU Leuven.
I adapt that lecture to the specific needs of the student based on their knowledge and grasp of the concepts. I like to develop analytical and scientific ability along with knowledge in my students, and for that, I use a combination of resources in the form of worksheets, class tasks, and past papers. Last, I believe in the strong ethic of providing feedback to the parents, so that they are aware of their child’s progress.

About Me
In my teaching approach I am infinitely patient always trying to explain things from a different angle until student achieves understanding. Also I prefer to torture my students with questions, slowly leading them to an answer rather than just presenting one to them. I believe this way of teaching is more engaging and more effective and it is more fun at least for me :)Education

Tutoring Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics and French region of Leuven (secondary)I am a student of TEW at the KULeuven and would like to offer my services to high school students who could use some help outside of school hours. Together with my students, I look for the right study approach to fully understand the courses and I try to present the subject matter in a different way so that my students gain more insight into the subject matter. I myself graduated from the Sint-Albertuscollege in Haasrode with a degree in science mathematics (6 hours) and I was raised perfectly bilingual (Dutch-French). I have several years of experience with tutoring, both to children in the 2nd year of high school and to children who are at the end of their high school and will soon be making the transition to further studies. Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any further questions or are interested.

NICK: Mathematics and Physics tutoring for secondary and primary education (also at home). Master HIR KULMathematics and Physics tutoring for secondary and primary education (also at home). Master Commercial Engineer KUL with a Science-Mathematics-8 and Civil Engineering background.
ABOUT THIS LESSON:
I offer tutoring in Python programming and mathematics for university and college students. I also support secondary school and primary school students in all scientific subjects.
I start by (if available) using your old tests to determine together with you (and possibly your parents) what specific difficulties you have. In addition, we will have a short conversation in which you can explain to me which issues you have experienced as the most difficult and would like to focus more on.
My focus is on ensuring that the student is able to find the solution independently, step by step, and I help where necessary by providing mini-tips to get to the next step together. This makes my method much more personalized than standard classroom teaching. When I notice that a student has difficulty independently coming up with the correct editing steps, I create a concise step-by-step plan tailored to that specific subject so that the student begins to see more structure in the learning material. At the same time, I ensure that the underlying theory is thoroughly understood by linking it to self-invented exercises and practical examples from the student's personal environment, which makes learning easier and more lasting.
ABOUT NICK:
I am a 22-year-old master's student in Commercial Engineering at KU Leuven. I started tutoring my sister, nephews, nieces and friends and I get a lot of satisfaction from improving and helping others when they come to me for help.
Because I have been tutoring consistently for 4 years, I have the right resources to present learning material in an understandable way and to strengthen the motivation, concentration and independent study of my students. In addition, I have a lot of experience with children and didactic teaching techniques from my tennis initiator diploma. Ranging from first to sixth secondary school, from 2 hours to 6 hours of mathematics per week and everything in between, I have guided students of all directions and levels, with a successful outcome every time.
I don't give up until I'm sure a student understands the material well enough and I see them making progress. By always appearing enthusiastic, I ensure that together we do not let the drudgery of difficult subjects get any further than the school desks.
I am flexible in making appointments and am open to every student. This can be done at a fixed time every week or lesson by lesson. I provide tutoring at your home (I can travel by car), at my home (Kampenhout), in my student room (Leuven) or online.
If you are interested, do not hesitate to contact me so that we can discuss the practical matters in more depth immediately. Together we can draw up a plan and work lesson by lesson to achieve your personal academic goals or those of your child.

Mathematics, French, Dutch, Scientific subjects, Economics and guidance during studiesI studied Latin Sciences at Sint-Jan Berchmanscollege in Brussels and I am currently in my 3rd bachelor's degree in Applied Economics (TEW) at the KUL.
Mathematics, science subjects, and languages can be challenging. I therefore offer my services to provide additional support to students in secondary school. Together with my students, I go over the course material, do sufficient exercises and discuss with them what the right study approach is. My goal is for them to master their learning material well and ultimately achieve a good end result.
Don't hesitate to contact me if you have any further questions!

Mathematics Tutoring - High school / University levelAs a student in a Master's degree in Mathematics, I offer help in the deep understanding of various subjects. I believe that intuition is the most important tool in mathematics and its development deserves our full attention. Whether it's in the math fundamentals we face in high school or the abstract tools we encounter in university, it's always possible to find that magical moment where everything seems so obvious. It is the so called "stupid questions" that are the most important.
