Do you want to play beautiful emotional songs from well-known contemporary pop music or are you a fan of classical works such as Bach? Everything is possible! Hello, I'm Merel! I am a professional cellist and I obtained my Master Cello with Geert De Bièvre at LUCA School of Arts in Leuven. Cello is my great passion with which I bring music to life! I also went on Erasmus and studied in Graz in Austria with Tobias Stosiek. Because I am very eager to learn, I regularly take master classes with well-known cellists such as: Maria Kliegel, Johannes Krebs and Johannes Moser. I give private cello lessons to young people and adults with great enthusiasm. I will teach you the complete cello learning package where I teach you to read and play notes. Do you have a specific goal in mind or would you like to learn a specific job? Then we work together towards your goal. The most important thing is that you have fun and enjoy the music you make! You can determine the number of lessons yourself. Would you like a lesson every week or every two weeks, that can all be discussed. That's the advantage of private lessons!

Piano lessons adapted to your taste and level. You tell us what you expect from the lessons so that I can give you optimal piano lessons. For example: you want to learn to read and play piano pieces. I must also give you the relevant theory. It is your choice to study additional theory, but it is not necessary. My lessons are therefore efficiently oriented. As a student, you can ultimately choose which piano pieces we work on (it must first be approved by me), so that playing the piano remains fun and educational. I cover classical music, pop music, video games, movies, anime music, etc... so many genres! Another example: you want to make a piano cover of an existing piece (e.g. pop music or movie music). I will give you the theory of chords and reading staves. This way you can get started quickly. Together we will practice enough so that you understand everything well! We can also improvise together on your piano. Feel free to message us if you have any questions :) I have already given private lessons to adults, teenagers and children both online and in person. Both options work great! We do this online via Skype or another app if desired. Physically we do it in Leuven city centre, where there is a handy large indoor bicycle shed. Ideally I teach once a week, you then continue practicing on your piano at home towards the next lesson the following week. If you would like lessons every other week or lessons twice a week, that is also possible for me. Why choose to learn to play the piano? It has been scientifically proven that playing an instrument makes someone smarter (good brain training). You can show your piano skills to others, but you can also make yourself happy and reward through your piano. Reading, understanding, playing and writing music. I offer lessons for children and adults, no matter the level. In my lessons, in addition to learning technique and the instrumental repertoire (clarinet), you learn the language of music in all its facets (solfeggio, rhythmics, dictation, harmony, elements of composition). The method I use varies for each individual student and depends not only on his/her level, but on what interests him/her most and what serves his/her artistic growth. I am Ezio, I am Italian and I moved to Belgium to continue my studies. I have a degree in clarinet, I also studied conducting for wind orchestras, musical propaedeutics and also theatre and theatre therapy. I have worked with youth bands and taught in two music schools in Sicily. I am a flute player based in Leuven. I obtained my master degree in flute in September 2020 at LUCA School of Arts and I am currently beginning bachelor music therapy. In 2017 I obtained my diploma in Pedagogical Formation. As a teacher I have taught flute in different schools and to students of any age. Due to my pedagogical studies in Dokuz Eylül University, I have full knowledge of training approaching to students in different age ranges.
