I am a studied guitarist (Bachelor's degree in popular music at the Popacademie of the ArtEZ Conservatory, Enschede) and an experienced guitar teacher and I would like to pass on my experience and knowledge to interested people in this way. With my enthusiasm for the instrument, which has persisted for over 20 years, I will pick you up at exactly the point where you are standing and work with you to integrate the guitar into your everyday life as a tool for self-development. I'm a jazz and opera singer with experience on the stage and as a teacher. I will offer lessons in several languages for all levels and genres. Everyone is different, so everyone has their own way to find their voice, I will try to adapt my methods to you.

My classes are different depending on your level and age. With children from 7 to 12, we start by doing easy vocalization and start training the ear with intonation, we then have fun singing your favorite songs. With teenagers, I also start with some vocalization, a little more elaborate. Depending on the student's capabilities, we start establishing a comfortable range for them and then proceed to singing. For my older students ideally, I divide our lesson into 2 sections. We work on respiration and how the diaphragm works. We do scales and arpeggios and work on intonation. We then proceed to singing and putting into practice our technique. Some students might need more technique before they actually sing, I like to take things slowly and make sure the student feels confident and comfortable singing. I teach children, teenagers, and adults, from beginners to more advanced. Classical training enables you to sing in any kind of way, so don’t hesitate and let’s sing!

Over my 10 years of teaching experience both privately and through NYC music schools, I have developed a variety of effective and individualized teaching tools that I continually refine. My students range in age from 5-70 years and sing music in a variety of styles including classical, musical theater, pop, and more.
