Hello everyone! I’m a classically trained pianist with a Bachelor and Masters degree in Australia as well as currently doing my another masters in the Leipzig Hochschule für Musik und Theater- Leipzig. I offer lessons in English as well as Korean. My teaching is very organised based as well as providing methodology instructions to students. Whether you're interested in a diverse repertoire, improvisation in church music (ccm) or classical pieces, I am here to elevate your skills as a pianist by providing the right knowledge whilst having an enjoyable time :) Looking forward to hearing from you

I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.

Welcome to my piano teaching studio! I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons for students of all levels. As a pianist with over 14 years of teaching experience in Europe and the USA, as well as over 23 years of playing/performing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the learning process. If the student is interested in a more structured approach, I guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) piano and music theory exams where my students consistently receive highest marks. I also have successful experience preparing students for conservatory entrance auditions, masterclasses, and competitions in the Europe, the USA, India, and Canada. We have class concerts at Pianos Maene for interested students twice per year. I am happy to provide either a more relaxed or a serious approach to learning piano, we simply need to discuss the personal goals and preferences of each student. My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate performance degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music” (under the guidance of esteemed professor Sergei Edelmann). Prior to this, I received my Bachelor and Masters degrees in Piano Performance/Music from the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis (with Prof. Lydia Artymiw) and Texas Christian University, Fort Worth (with Dr. Tamas Ungar). My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as a soloist and collaborative member in several orchestras, and receiving top prizes in several competitions. While maintaining my performance and recording career in Belgium at present, I am developing my private music studio in central Antwerp and look forward to meeting new students.

From reading note letters, implementing a proper form to sight reading a piece, we are gonna learn in our own pace. If you're just learning music now and it feels like there's a lot to understand, don't worry we're gonna start from the basics. I will help you understand music and its elements. With your dedication and my guidance, I'm positive that we will get a good result!

I am a Spanish pianist and composer (MMus graduate from Codarts Rotterdam in both directions) with many years of teaching experience, and also very active in performing in various contexts. I give private piano lessons for all levels and styles (classical, jazz, Latin, new age, pop...), as well as music theory, composition and improvisation lessons. My lessons are distinguished by their dynamics, practical approach and adaptation to the needs and interests of the student. The lessons (live or online) take place in my studio next to the Maastunnel, where I have a premium stage piano and a top-quality webcam setup. I speak Dutch at an intermediate level, which is improving every day.

Wolof is the most spoken language in Senegal, Gambia where it has been enriched by the contributions of other dialects, Arabic and French, which remains the official language. It is experiencing a cultural expansion in the country and is also present in Gambia and Mauritania. So to facilitate your integration into Senegalese, Gambian society; it is essential to go through this language because it is the vernacular although there are several beautiful local Senegal- Gambian languages ​​but Wolof remains the most used language. this is why I propose to teach the beauty of this language which is my specialty and my mother tongue, I also teach Senegalese and Gambian culture and civilization. Learning Wolof offers anyone who wishes to get to know Senegal, in a professional, cultural or touristic context, to establish privileged contact with its population. My method is very simple, I start by teaching you the most common and used words and expressions. Then slowly the formation of sentences, conjugation, grammar but also you how to pronounce each word well and know their positions in the sentence. Thanks to my very simple and effective teaching methodology, the student can manage to form sentences in Wolof very easily from our first lesson. I have already trained hundreds of students all over the world to speak, hold a conversation or communicate and write Wolof. What is more fascinating is while taking my lessons I noticed most of my students speak Wolof with a very clear accent in Wolof because I often insist on phonetics. I also want to inform my learners that apart from online courses, I organize language visits and tours in Senegal; for those who wish to travel in order to practice and discover Senegal with special packages.
