My focus is mainly on having a conversation in Mandarin Chinese. I was raised bilingually so my Chinese pronunciation is just as good as my Dutch. My family is from Beijing, hence my accent is 'pure'. A description of the lesson is mainly holding conversations in different scenarios; from applying for a job to ordering food in a restaurant. I also like to provide information about Chinese culture and its ways/habits. These lessons will help you learn to speak Chinese and its fluency.

I'm a polyglot & passionate teacher of foreign languages with teaching certificates in all 5 languages and more than 14 years of experience in the classroom and online. I have lived in several countries (Spain, UK, Ireland, Italy and the Netherlands) and I have taught language classes to students of all ages in groups and individually. I offer classes in English, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese or Catalan. Also German and Swedish for beginners.

I am an Italian native speaker with a bachelor in Italian Literature and Linguistics. In Italy, I usually teach English to high school students​, or adults who want to improve their skills with this language. Usually, I tend to use a non-academic approach, by focusing on the student's interests and make him/her applying the language to their everyday life, instead of simply learning the grammar rules by heart. In my opinion, learning a new language should be fun and easy, nothing too stressful. What you will get from is a new positive and funny way to learn a foreign language such as Italian or English.

As her children were growing up, she wondered if there was a way she could continue spending her days reading the mountain of books she had collected. Hello! My name is Leonor and I am a Law Student from Portugal. In the last few months, I worked as an English Teacher in a Refugee Camp and Greece and before that I worked as a Portuguese and English tutor to both middle school and high school students. I had a 8.5/9 IELTS score and have lived abroad for several years, so English is a language I'm really comfortable in speaking. I love creating worksheets and powerpoints. Although I am a trained philosophy teacher for secondary students, I have shifted my focus to tutoring English and Portuguese language learners. My goal is to provide dynamic classes that allow students to use functional language in real-world ways, but each class can be tailor-made to the individual's needs. I use Cambridge materials for my English classes, in addition to real-world texts and videos, to train students on grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary. Student-centered classes are the most beneficial in my opinion, so I focus on having the student speak while also guiding them with the correct language depending on their problem areas.
