I like to share the passion for music. Patient, pedagogue and attentive to the student in order to make him progress quickly, my lessons take place in a structured whole. That is to say that practice and theory have an equivalent place: technical exercises, explanations in music theory, chamber music and simple then more complex pieces depending on the level of the student and his cravings. Indeed you are however free to choose what you wish to work on, to propose pieces as well as to deepen a particular point, a specific technique for the most experienced. Beginning this instrument at the age of six, my passion for music developed gradually thanks to chamber music and the orchestra in particular. Currently, I give private lessons, concerts in different rooms (churches, performance halls) in France and I study at the HEM in Geneva. For several years, I have acquired experience in teaching cello and music theory, for students of all ages and levels.

Hi! My name is Alina, I am 22 years old, and I would like to offer you cello lessons. (All ages and levels are welcome.) Let me tell you about my education. I completed my bachelor’s degree at the Poznań Music Academy in Poland, and this year I will finish my master’s degree in Bolzano, Italy. In addition, I completed a three-year pedagogical course in Poland, so I am confident in my abilities to be a good teacher for both adults and children. In my lessons, we can work together to develop a pathway for achieving your professional goals. If you are a beginner, I can introduce you to the world of cello playing, helping you learn to play for your own enjoyment.

I have a lot of experience teaching cello and for me, the most important thing in my lessons is learn well and enjoy. Ussually, my lesson programme is start with a short warm up (technique exercises) to continue with different cello pieces chosen by the students. I have a lot of pop and actual music cello pieces for all levels. In addition, I'm familiar with methods like ABRSM, Suzuki, Feuillard, Duport, Popper and Piatti.

We will travel through different musical eras to enrich your repertoire and your understanding of styles, while giving an important place to emotions and feelings in music. Learn to improvise, jam and create your own music. I am a cellist, composer and improviser specialising in working with string players to unlock and devlop creative potential. I will work with you to deveop a bespoke course to help you develop skills in improvisation. Areas covered: Jazz improvisation - Blues, Standards, Harmony, Bass Lines, Finding Chords, Building and Creating Solos, Elarnig repertoire. Baroque Imrpovisation - Ground Bass, Partimento realisation and developing cadenzas for classical repertoire Free/Folk and other styles - we can explore any styles of improvisation, and discuss how to develop your skills. I am a professor of Imrpovisation at the Royal Colege of Music in London, and a composer and performer of my own music internationally.

I am Zhanshu, a cellist from China with extensive experience in cello playing and music education. I previously obtained my Postgraduate Diploma at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in the UK and then completed my Master's degree at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Germany. I currently teach at several music schools and have experience teaching students of all ages and ability levels. Through my many years of teaching practice, I have gained valuable experience and can develop an individually tailored curriculum for each student. I offer flexible lesson times, which can be booked in different lengths (30, 45, 60, 90 minutes). I believe that every student has a unique musical potential, so I always adapt my lessons to the needs and goals of my students to help them progress in both technique and musical expression.

Hi ! I am Héloïse, a French cellist and singer who lives in The Netherlands since two years. I finished to study at HKU Utrecht Conservatorium in June and am now a professional musician and, among other a cello teacher at the Lindenberg Center in Nijmegen. After teaching music theory for two years in a french conservatory, I realized how much teaching is very important for me and helps me to grow as a musician. I like to adapt to the student and try to find a solution in any pedagogical situation. I can teach all cello and singing levels, and all ages. I can also give some music theory lessons. The lessons can be at my place in The Hague or online but also at the student place, in English or French. Thank you!
