Additionally, I successfully completed all program requirements for earning the Oxford Advanced 220-Hour TESOL/TESL/TEFL Certificate with specializations in Teaching English Grammar, Teaching Business English, Teaching IELTS and TOEFL Preparation, and Teaching English to Young Learners.

Currently, I am the Subject Matter Expert and Lead Instructor for Cultural Anthropology classes in the College of Professional Studies, University of New England Maine. I recently served five months as a Peace Corps Virtual Service Pilot Volunteer assisting the Philippines Science High School with their STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) Curriculum Revision Project.

I love tutoring because I enjoy the one-on-one interaction I experience in assisting others achieve their own specific learning goals. Every student is unique and presents a different set of needs, expectations, abilities and ethnographic background. I have found tutoring and teaching to be immensely intrinsically rewarding because my students always appreciate the professional and empathetic assistance I am able to provide to them.

I have experience teaching domestically in the United States, and internationally in Nicaragua, Ecuador and Colombia. I was proud to serve nearly three years as a Peace Corps Volunteer teaching English and nutrition classes, along with developing the UNESCO TiNi Program in Cuenca, Ecuador.

Guidance in (scientific) writing and communication.
Like no other, I know how difficult it can be to structure a research or project in a short time. You want to distinguish main issues from side issues and be in the final report to-the-point in communicating the results. From MBO level 2 I went on to a doctorate in astrophysics at the University of Amsterdam. During this path, I have written hundreds of reports, published 6 scientific articles and presented my findings hundreds of times both informally and formally. In addition, I have been a successful thesis supervisor of 3 bachelor students and 1 master's student. I would like to help you get the best out of yourself with the help of my knowledge and experience. However, I do not want to do this with a leadership mentality, but from an advisory mentality in which we can put together as equals a nice end product that we both support. I can offer concrete support for your research/project in: - Setup and planning - Doing literature study - Quality assurance - Presentation and structure/content - Popularizing the topics with catchy texts - Review with a critical look - Give layout and design input - And much more Do you think I can help you or do you want to know more? I would love to hear from you!

Creative and Academic Writing Excellence: Tutoring for All Levels
Learning how to write a well- organized essay is very essential as it helps students develop critical thinking, problem- solving skills, and creativity. In addition, essay writing often requires students to conduct research, teaching them how to gather, evaluate, and synthesize information from multiple sources. The method of this class is organized as PPP (Present, Practice and Produce) which means that first the key points about the topic are presented and then there will be a lot of engaging activities to practice. And finally students will be able to produce or write an essay independently. There will be a lot of group work and pair work for students to be more involved in the learning process and have more interest in learning their lessons.
