About Me

I have just finished my first year of medicine and obtained my baccalaureate S with honours. I am in my second year of medicine in Freiburg. I like to give lessons because I am passionate about these subjects and I like to help make simple what may seem complicated at first sight.
I have also taken piano lessons at the conservatory for about 10 years and currently continue to play at home.

Education

I started my secondary school in Bulle and was promoted at the end of the second year with the option "physics and application of maths" and advanced maths. I then moved to Nyon to a public school. I spent two years there and came out with my general baccalaureate, section S, option SVT, with honours. I am now studying medicine at the University of Freiburg.
I passed the entrance exam for the middle level at the conservatory in Bulle.

Experience / Qualifications

There were less than 60 students in all grades in the public school in Nyon. There are children from 4 to 18 years old, so it often happened that the teachers sent me the students who were having difficulties in the scientific subjects so that I could help them. Then I gave lessons to 4 students during the year 2020 since this platform and I still give lessons regularly to 3 students.
I have always been interested and gifted in science and math and love helping to understand. Science and math are necessary for many professions (even in non-scientific professions such as accountancy, ...) and are important in school. This is why I offer courses for students or for those who simply want to learn or improve in these subjects. The course includes: - understanding the theory through examples, explanations and diagrams. - resolution accompanied by exercises and problems in order to be able to reproduce the procedure to follow - understanding of these to be able to identify alone the different steps and procedures to follow necessary for the resolution - exam preparation My goal is that one day my students will no longer need me to understand the theory and apply it in practice!

Physics and science for everyone, all levels, ages 7 to 99
Courses tailored to each student's curriculum and difficulties. As a doctor in physics and a tutor for many years, I'm committed to ensuring that all my pupils and students succeed! I'm available to help with homework every week or on an ad hoc basis before exams, as you wish. I'm very good at listening to different problems and I'll be able to adapt to you. A lesson always begins with a short discussion with the student to find out where he or she stands. I then adapt a little revision or experiential learning (“hands-on explanations” to get a feel for the different concepts) and then some practical exercises. See you soon (:

Institute
Academic support courses in scientific fields
Our institute was founded for a simple reason: to reveal the potential that lies dormant in each of us, even when we struggle to see it ourselves. We all have enormous potential, but are we always able to fully perceive it? Sometimes, daily challenges, stress or lack of motivation can make us doubt our abilities. With us, each course is a real human experience. Indeed, it is not simply about learning mathematics, physics, chemistry, mechanics, or preparing for exams, but about creating a strong bond of trust between the teacher and the student. This bond is essential to provide a framework where each student feels listened to, supported and encouraged to surpass themselves.

Thibaut
Individual support courses in Mathematics, Physics and Biology
As a master's student at EPFL, I offer support courses to share my experience in mathematics, physics and biology. Whether at the secondary, gymnasium or university level, the sessions revolve around the resolution of exercises and the resumption of basic theory in order to understand the key concepts. These courses can be adapted with a view to preparing for one or more exams in particular. I can also provide help in organization and working methods. Do not hesitate to contact me to discuss your specific needs and establish a tailor-made program that will perfectly match your learning objectives. Looking forward to working with you,

Repetition course in mathematics and science subjects
Currently studying in the first year at EPFL, in the Computer Science and Communications System faculty. I offer repetition courses in mathematics and more generally in science subjects, from elementary school to high school level. This course is aimed at students having difficulty in scientific branches as well as students wishing to improve their knowledge or prepare for higher studies in the scientific field. During the lessons, I review the different notions learned at school and try to bring them in a more intuitive and less abstract way. Then we apply these concepts in the exercises. I also focus on developing a method of scientific thinking, in order to solve future exercises independently.
