Welcome to Lalabela Music Academy! I am a piano, singing, music theory and writing/composition teacher, with more than twenty years of experience in the recording industry and education. I specialize in current/modern music but I teach all musical styles. Graduated from the National Conservatory of Music and the University of Cambridge in 2013, I joined the New York school of producer with 7 Grammy Awards, Gordon Williams (known for his work with Amy Winehouse, Lauryn Hill or Alicia Keys) . I teach piano and singing in French and English, and I help students prepare for auditions like the Voice, or record a first song in the studio. At the same time, I provide support and coaching to young artists, and I organize workshops and singing improvement courses in English for adults, children and adolescents. I have created a direct and rapid method which is directly inspired by my years of experience to best share my know-how with my students. As each student is unique, as soon as we start lessons, I will put in place a program adapted to your needs, your level, your musical tastes in order to best help you in your musical journey. In the first session we will make an assessment and then discuss the best way to move forward. Whatever your musical project, professional or amateur, I am at your disposal to talk about it. .

I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.

From my childhood I have been studying music and art: sang in choir and solo, played piano, painted, studied music history and literature, solfeggio. Later in college I have also learned choir conducting, had ensemble and choir singing lessons, cultural studies. During last year in university I had pedagogy practice at university and at private art school (where I worked as a music tutor before the war - piano, voice). I truly enjoyed working with students. They all were different age (8 - 40+ years old) and level. But all were very interesting and work was pleasant. My education was very various: my core subjects were conducting, choir, voice, piano. So it allowed me to work with children, teens and adults with quite wide range of interests and needs: some students needed/wanted to learn particular composition(s), sometimes pop songs arrangements, some were interested in “introduction” to the music, some wanted to renew skills they gained in their childhood and continue their journey to the music world. In addition I prepared presentations (which contained information about cultural and historical background and musical and character/art analysis). So after graduation from choir conducting faculty (which allowed me to deepen my knowledge in many important compatible branches) I concentrated on studying classical singing and piano, expanded my cultural studies and analysis knowledge, practiced solfeggio and harmony.

J'ai préparé avec succès les étudiants avec leurs examens de piano comme ABRSM, Trinity Grade 1-8 et des examens plus avancés. Je peux vous apprendre à jouer de la musique classique, du ragtime, du blues, du jazz, de la musique traditionnelle, de la musique moderne (Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, etc.), de la musique ancienne (Abba, Queen, etc.). Je dispense mes cours en utilisant une combinaison de 3 caméras pour une visibilité optimale et un microphone de qualité que mes étudiants trouvent très utile. Cela leur permet de voir une démonstration visuelle très claire à côté de mon explication verbale. Je vous donnerai des cours de piano en ligne personnalisés. Pour les débutants, j'utilise les livres de méthode Alfred, mais je suis très ouvert à l'utilisation d'autres livres également. J'aime enseigner et expliquer des choses générales, des habitudes qui peuvent être appliquées à des passages musicaux similaires, que l'on retrouve dans toutes les partitions musicales, de la musique classique à la musique moderne.

Geneva - Lausanne - Morges Courses in English, French, Italian (native languages) - German (European level B2) As a graduate of the Geneva Conservatory of Music, I offer with great enthusiasm, excellent methodology, and a strong desire to share my passion, piano and music theory lessons for all levels. Having completed 12 years of studies in Piano and Music Theory, as well as courses in Musical Training and Sight-Reading, I want to introduce this extraordinary instrument to both beginners and advanced students with the same passion that my teachers (including Sodi Braide, who studied at the Paris National Conservatory of Music (CNSM), and Stéphanie Aubert) used to bring me to my current level—performing in major concerts and competitions with first prize at the CMG. As a mechanical engineering student at EPFL, I can adapt the lessons in a fun yet rigorous way, to captivate young beginners. I give piano lessons for intermediate and advanced students from 15 years and up. I studied classical piano at the Conservatory of Amsterdam and finished my master's degree in 2010. Over the years, I have won several first prizes at competitions, and I can teach classical music and pop and music theory. I also can prepare for conservatory entrance exams or advanced prep for competitions.

Pianist and musicologist, I have been teaching piano in all styles (classical, jazz, film and popular music) to students of all ages for almost 20 years. The teaching is modern, adapted to each student and combines music theory and instrument. Hello! I am a 29 years old classical pianist with a Master's degree at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag. I have taught Piano (and also Music Education) since 2016, to both children and adults. Teaching allows me to bring my passion and enthusiasm for music to the students, and I also find it incredibly rewarding to guide and follow their musical and technical development!
