Frank Wu (B.Mus, MA) is a Hong Kong based piano teacher with a passion for music education. A native of Hong Kong, Frank spent formative years honing his craft as a musician in Australia. He is an alumnus of the Australian Institute of Music, where he studied composition under the guidance of renowned Australian composers Eric Chapus and Drew Crawford. As a live performer, he was an active member in the vibrant Sydney music scene, accumulating extensive performing experience both as a pianist and keyboardist. On returning to his hometown of Hong Kong, Frank chose to focus his passion in music education. To further his professional development as a teacher, he attained his Master's degree in Music from the Hong Kong Baptist University, graduating with highest honors with a focus on piano pedagogy and early childhood music education. With over seven years of teaching experience, Frank is a seasoned music teacher who has taught students of all ages - from preschool children to senior adults. He adopts a student-centered approach, accounting for each student's unique abilities to create customized lesson content that enable them to realize their musical potential.

To all student and parents, Man Ting is graduated from the Monash University, majoring in Classical Piano. She has developed an extensive musical sense, knowledge and stylish skills from various famous musicians throughout her studies in Australia, included Ms, Lucinda Collins (the head of classical piano) from the Elder Conservatorium Of Music; Mr. Darryl Coote and Mr. Len Vorster. Man Ting enjoys playing music and working with others. She has participated in different ensembles and venues; in 2016, performed for the “Australiana” in the Melbourne Recital Centre and the Monash Piano Series Concert and in the same year got invited to perform for Duneira Concert and Monash University Open Day; in 2017, performed for the “Chopin and Liszt” and “Sounds Without End” which held in Collins St Baptist Church of Melbourne. During her college life, Man Ting has participated in the Monash Wind Symphony for 2 years as percussion and piano accompaniment; has been continuously awarded for the “Bernis Music Classical Piano Award” in 2016 and 2017. Man Ting is an experienced teacher for all ages students and familiar to help student with AMEB and ABRSM grade exam. Also, as an interpreter of the ABRSM, this position allows her to help and train the exam setting with student more efficiently. Through her international career life, her experience allows her to communicate and be flexible with different students and parents from different countries and cultures. I am a professional opera singer who has performed in theatres and concerts in Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Greece, Romania, and Hong Kong, has won international vocal competitions, been an adjudicator in vocal competitions, and given vocal masterclasses in secondary schools. Currently, I am an official singing and piano teacher at an arts school in London, where my classes are always fully booked. I have always enjoyed teaching and can teach a wide range of repertoire in English, German, French and Italian. My lessons are mostly in English, but of course I can teach in Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese too. As a private singing teacher, all my students have won local and international competitions, and obtained excellent results in their exams. Some of them even decided to choose music and opera as their future careers. Although I am based in the UK at the moment, I still would love to help students who like to learn opera and classical singing in Hong Kong. She studied Piano Performance at University of Northwestern, U.S.A, as an undergraduate and earned her Master of Music Education from Boston University. She has been teaching private lessons and been a full-time music teacher for eight years in South Korea, Singapore, and Hong Kong. Her expertise is in beginner and intermediate piano pedagogy. She has successfully implemented both U.S and UK music education systems and is familiar with various music examination schools such as ABRSM and Suzuki. She is fluent in both English and Korean. A former scholar at the Royal College of Music London, sponsored by The Kenneth and Violet Scott Award, I earned a degree in Piano Performance under the tutelage of Nigel Clayton, Peter Jablonski and Ruth Nye. I was also a recipient of Talent Development Scholarship awarded by the Hong Kong Government Scholarship Scheme. Started learning the piano at the age of 4, I won numerous prizes in different competitions including Asia Piano Open Competition, TOYAMA Asian Youth Music Competition, Inter-School International Performance Challenge and Hong Kong Schools Music Festivals. In 2018, I was also one of the finalists in the Liszt Memorial Prizes Hong Kong International Piano Open Competition. I have been actively engaged in music teaching since 2013. Starting my career in Opus 1 Arts Music Studio in Hong Kong, I continued inspiring the next generation when I moved to London in 2015, where I was appointed as the piano teacher in the Lanterns School of the Performing Arts London and London Music Centre.

Welcome to my piano teaching studio! I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons for students of all levels. As a pianist with over 14 years of teaching experience in Europe and the USA, as well as over 23 years of playing/performing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the learning process. If the student is interested in a more structured approach, I guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) piano and music theory exams where my students consistently receive highest marks. I also have successful experience preparing students for conservatory entrance auditions, masterclasses, and competitions in the Europe, the USA, India, and Canada. We have class concerts at Pianos Maene for interested students twice per year. I am happy to provide either a more relaxed or a serious approach to learning piano, we simply need to discuss the personal goals and preferences of each student. My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate performance degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music." Prior to this, I received my Bachelor and Masters degrees in Piano Performance/Music from the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis and Texas Christian University, Fort Worth (USA). My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as a soloist and collaborative member in several orchestras, and receiving top prizes in several competitions. While maintaining my performance and recording career in Belgium at present, I am developing my private music studio in central Antwerp and look forward to meeting new students.
