Contrary to popular belief, learning Latin is not like learning the phone book by heart. I offer you Latin lessons that are unlike any other. There are two types of courses. Here is an analogy to illustrate their respective approaches: If you take the train back and forth every day and don't have time to wait long at the platform, imagine that you only have two options: 1) Learn the schedules by heart. 2) Note that the train arrives every ten minutes and that a train arrives for example at 7:00 a.m. In school pedagogy, in study notebooks and in ordinary courses, it is the first approach which is adopted - in the courses that I offer you, it is the second because it is more economical and faster. Learning is easy but unlearning what has become a bad habit is extremely difficult. All the more important it is to learn the right reflexes as early as possible. The methods are based on cognitive sciences and in particular historical linguistics. Most sessions are via Zoom. The teacher will send you the link via WhatsApp or email and at the time of your session you can access it via a device. You will notice that they are very complete and you may be a little tired after the session, if you are not very familiar with the language. If the session is in a group of two or more people, it can be once or twice a week. We will talk about many interpersonal topics in the session and we may follow up during the week by sharing relevant content via WhatsApp and voice notes, also in English for both parties to continue practicing fluency and vocabulary.
